well we may be moving again

J-rod wrote: well we got a call last night that the apartment/townhouse is almost completed. they are just waiting for all the new flooring to arrive. this week... new carpet and all. so we going to go look ati it tonight and hopefully be moving in a week or two.

stephy was saying last night she hates to move....she hates the house we in now...but she said its our first place with kyan.....but im sure once she sees the inside of this new place she will be ok. and also we just got our gas bill for november. ($444 mad.gif ) so that we will not miss once we move.

wish us luck.... ill try to take pics of it.

lisar replied: Good luck with the move. OMG..That gas bill is crazy.

gr33n3y3z replied: why is the gas bill so high? that is so crazy
Good luck with the other place

J-rod replied:
this house is old and drafty.... and there is still no back door. it is covered with plywood and plastic. the glass broke out back in august...and we been trying to get her to have it fixed since....we have had 3 contracters no-show on fixing it. growl.gif

so this makes our furnace run alot!

kimberley replied: good luck with the move! we lived in an older house that was oil heated before and it was about the same each month growl.gif

CantWait replied: Hope it's everything you guys are hoping for. $444 for a gas bill seems absolutely obscene to me. ohmy.gif

J-rod replied:
no kidding.... sadly that was for 33 days use and avg daily temp of 41*

its not even cold out yet...so i wont even imagine what the cold winter months bill would be

sparkys2boys replied: good luck with the move, maybe this house will be cozy warm!!

J-rod replied: this place is not very old at all compared to here. i believe it is ALL electric so no gas charges. smile.gif

waiting on steph to get home so we can go look at it.

then off to see 'We are Marshall' then off to dinner.

ky is at his mamaw's house.

See now $444 is not too far out of the range in our neck of the woods. We have to pay $100-$200 a month for propane and then we pay $100 to $200 a month for electricity to run the furnace, etc - so we pay anywhere from $200 to $400 a month in the winter months. Now that we are on level pay we pay $140 for propane and then level pay for electricity of $180. So we pay $320 now. But that's the drawback of living in the country and not having natural gas. rolleyes.gif

I hope the move is an easy one for you. hug.gif

J-rod replied: well if you figure in our electric as well its well over $500/month

the townhouse looked AMAZING. i cant wait for the carpet to be comepleted and the floor in the bathroom.

we love it smile.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: yowza! That is a stinger of a gas bill. but if you cannot help it, then you cannot help it. I hope the new place gives you guys some relief in the pocket by not having to pay so much every month.

Glad to hear you liked the new place. keep us posted.

J-rod replied: well we look to be moving in this coming weekend. place is amazing!

mom2my2cuties replied: Glad you guys found something you like smile.gif
