luvmykids replied: I'm in for just about anything, September of '07 we'll be in Orlando anyway, so if it works there/then, great, if not, I'm up for anything. I'm not much help, but we're very fly by the seat of our pants types, so whenever, wherever, I'll aim to be there!

Seriously, I never knew I had it in me until 2 summers ago when I was at the office and DH came in and said "Go home and pack up. We're going to San Diego." I said "When?" He said "Right now! Hurry!" I thought he was crazy but then I realized I could either go, or be mad that he was there having fun while I was stuck at home, so I threw stuff for me and the kids in the car and off we went! We literally hit the road for a 15 hour drive with all three kids within an hour! And had a blast too!

June seems to be the best for three members, including me. Monica has an open schedule. And there is the midwest option & the central/southern US option out there. Great, this is a start. Let's keep it up with more suggestions!

You are right, Di. Two get-togethers is great or it may even have to be a regional thing after all, if that is what would work out better for everyone.

I am planning a meeting on another board I belong to. It's our second meeting. No one could decide on a date so I just said "We are meeting May ____ -_____ in Dallas" So far we have several who are going to make it. 2 of us live here. Last year we met in Atlanta b/c I was there with DH for a meeting he was attending and 2 of the ladies live in ATL. That made it easy to plan. There are only 12 of us on the board, but the majority of us were able to make it. I hope to meet some new ones this year.

Anyway, I say pick a central location and just go for it. I'll do my best to be there.

As for location, south works for me, mid west is probably a possibility. Anywhere I can drive to in 2 days or less basically.

Insanemomof3 replied: Hmmm Kansas is pretty much the center of the US. Is there anything fun there? I used to live in Lawrence, but only for about 3 months so didn't get to see much. Plus I was always working. I will look and see later if there is anything fun.

We should all go to Cuba. All you US peeps have to come through Canada anyways, to get there.. so we can meet up in Ottawa or Toronto, party that evening - and all get on the same plane to go to Cuba for a couple days.
