what are you wanting/hoping for

Kaitlin'smom wrote: for christmas? anyone have something they really hope they get? what on you all's list?

cameragirl21 replied: does getting my size 2 body back count...? happy.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
sure I woudl not mind a smaller size as well, but thats something I have to work on, unfortunally I can just buy it, well I guess in a way I could but I am way to cheep when it comes to things for me.

3xsthefun replied: The only thing I really asked for was a ladies electric razor. I'm getting tired of disposable razors. blush.gif

coasterqueen replied: Dh and I aren't getting each other presents and so I'm hoping he sticks to that rule. As far as from my parents and sister, I really hope they get me a gift certificate to get my hair done or to the mall, but my dad hates doing that. He said "ok, I'll get you a gc, but I'm getting you something else that you can actually open". tongue.gif So who knows. I hope my sister gets me a candle warmer. I asked for a nice one, not a cheapy from Walmart like she has that broke soon after she got it. happy.gif

Other than that I'm going to be super cheesy here and say what I REALLY hope for is the hope that my girls LOVE everything they get for Christmas from us and Santa. Kylie is being super snotty this year and I could see her being snotty on Christmas morning when she doesn't get something she wants. We are desperately working on this attitude she got from who knows where. dry.gif So to see happiness on their faces on Christmas morning would be the best thing I could ever get or ask for.

J-rod replied: SLEEEEEEEP tongue.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
not cheezey at all Kaitlin has a bit of that attitude as well, last night we were requested at his grandparents to open some things they did not want to take to MIL, my understanding was it was just something big or bulky and not the stuff I had gotten for Kait for them to give her (she cant get out and shop like she woudl like to) well they sprung giving her gifts on us, and when she was done she said thats it? I was so embarrassed, daddy explained to her that she will be getting more from others over time. He said he actaully expected it when it started, she is used to a PILE of gifts from grandma/grampa/gramy/grampy all at once so when they did this it threw it al off, had I known before hand I could have pre-paird her. Oh and she got upset over one gift, she did not realise it was the one she asked for till I pointed it out. We had a talk about be grateful and appriciative.

coasterqueen replied:
Yeah, we are having the probs with being greatful and appreciative too. I don't know how to make her understand it short of not giving her any gifts at all. sad.gif

jem0622 replied: Healthy family and friends

Kaitlin'smom replied:
do you think its an age thing? Did Kylie ask for tons of different things?

coasterqueen replied:
Gosh I hope it's an age thing. Although I think last year she acted this way too, the saying "that's it", but this year she thinks that everyone she's met should buy her a gift. We tried to explain to her that it's about giving, not getting, so now she thinks everyone should be giving to her. rolleyes.gif No matter how we've explained it she just doesn't want to understand it properly.

Kylie does ask for a ton of different things, but that's usually after she sees it on tv first or in a store. Otherwise, no.

TheOaf66 replied: we had to have a talk with Tanner about being greatful, he got a gift this past weekend that he did not really care for and just blurted out I don't want this but I think he gets it now.

moped replied: I am with Karen - I want to see jack very ecited and happy and I just can't wait for that........
But as far as tangible items - I want a cell phone, but won't get it...............so I have no idea to be honest

Kaitlin'smom replied:
ya thats what I meant she see she wants kind of thing, Kaitlin kept doing this to me so it was really hard to figure out what she really wanted and will be happy with. We saw santa about 4 different times and finally the last time she told him what she wanted, and thankfully thats one thing I got her, so hopefully she will be happy. She was easy last year this year seems to be more difficult.

kit_kats_mom replied: a kitchen aid stand mixer. I've been baking a lot this year and I'd love one but that's the sort of thing I'd never buy myself. They are expensive and I can do everything it does with stuff I already have...but it would be nice.

Kaitlin'smom replied:
my MIL has one and LOVES it she uses it all the time. Good choise thumb.gif

Cece00 replied: I really want my parents to have gotten me that Food Saver vacuum sealer, and I really want for my DH to have gotten me a new ring...preferrable with pearls and diamonds, since those are both of our birthstones.

CantWait replied: I was hoping for a Boyds Bear to add to the small but hopefully growing collection I have.

Also driving gloves, a new pair of running shoes since I'll buy myself a pair, gym pants, or to have the entrance way painted since it's so high and I can't do it myself.

I got my present already though, and it's none of that.

coasterqueen replied: Oh I did forget to mention that I was hoping to convince DH to paint my living room for a Christmas present, so I guess he is going to break our rule, but this one is ok. tongue.gif So we are hoping to paint it next week AND he said if I rip off all the wallpaper in the girls bathroom he'll paint it, so I plan to do that too. So this was something HUGE I was hoping for and am going to get. biggrin.gif

MommyToAshley replied: I agree, and Karen it wasn't cheesey, I always look forward to Ashley's reaction on Christmas morning. Seeing her face light up is the best present. wub.gif wub.gif

With that being said, I already received my present. The new digital camera. I got it early so I could take photos of all the Christmas events since our old digital broke. And, then we found out after we bought the new camera that my old camera has a recall and is now being fixed for free. Oh well, I have wanted a SLR for a really long time.

Calimama replied:
I wish I had known you collect those, I just gave away about 13 of them. I could have sent them to you. tongue.gif

* forgot to answer the question. blush.gif I didnt ask for anything in particular. If I want something during the year than Antonio usually buys it. He's not too great at guessing anyway. tongue.gif

sparkys2boys replied:
LOL.. good luck with that one!!

CantWait replied:
emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif No problem. It would have been a heck of a time wrapping them all anyway for shipping.

grapfruit replied: I asked for SHEETS! tongue.gif

And a meat thermometer, since I tried to kill us last april. (I think the chicken was done, it was just bad....that's my story and I'm sticking to it!) <--BTW, we were in WM the other night and he saw one and put it in the cart for me, so that's not exactally a Christmas present...

He told me that he had been saving his "pennies" all year and bought something around $500.00, and he bought it from a store that if he told me the store it'd give it away....I have no idea how big it is b/c it's not here. I actually have no clue where it's at...Any ideas???

cameragirl21 replied:
i'm guessing jewelry.... wink.gif happy.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: Just for my car to be fixed, which we plan to have it done after the holidays.

grapfruit replied: See, that's the only thing I can think of too. But he hates buying jewelery for Christmas/Birthdays b/c he thinks it's "cheating" or impersonal. So I don't know...Maybe it's a ring for my left hand : P
