what could this be?

Should I take her the the doctor?

But they don't look to bad to me. Maybe just some Mosquito bites or something w/ spring.

I would do some triple antibotic and hyrdocortizone creme if she itches with each diaper change.

If they spread in a rash or become infected then I would worry. No drainage and nothing swollen I think she is fine..just some critter biting her.

A&A'smommy replied: I don't know what I should I'm afraid I'm going to look incredibly stupid if I take her, they don't itch and they are only on her belly and arm so its not a rash its some kind of weird bug biting her maybe they are ant bites? we have these stupid little sugar ants and sometimes the bite me they don't hurt but maybe they do that to her I know I sound like a crazy first time mother

DansMom replied: They look like a certain kind of hive Daniel sometimes gets if there is a trace of some allergen in something he ate. However, those disappear within an hour or two, so it can't be that. Maybe there was a spider in her bed. Those bites can last a while and sometimes get re-inflamed, and they look kind of like that too.

ian'smommy replied: I woudl say some type of bug bites... mosquito or even spider... Ian has things like that occasionally and they go away on their own over time. Sometimes he gets things like that from the heat too. It's hard to say. Red bumps on skin are hard to determine. If it would make you feel better, bring her in and ask. Don't worry about feeling stupid. I can garantee they have had many people come in to be on the safe side even if it turns out to be nothing. I've gone in feeling stupid before and they totally understood. Better safe than sorry... Good luck...

jcc64 replied: What's a long time to you, Jessy? A week, a month? In my experience, things like this come and go with no explanation. Unless they start to really spread or make her uncomfortable, if it was me I would probably wait a little while before going to the dr.

My2Beauties replied: Hanna has gotten these before and they come and go, I always associated them with her eczema though, she has a mild case. Are there rough patches around the little dots?

A&A'smommy replied: Well it looks like we are going to the docter anyway so I'm going to ask about it, she started crying SOOO hard tonight and pulling on her ears I gave her some tylenol and she quite crying after about 20 minutes so I think I'm going to take her in and have them checked just to be sure she doesn't have an infection...

I think she has had the one on her arm for about a month and the ones on her belly started coming up maybe a week after that I thought they were going away BUT they kinda got bigger and a tiny bit redder.. so I don't know maybe an allergy or maybe ants that I didn't see she got into..
