Kaitlin'smom replied: wacko.gif I was just thinking about it and I really dont have many ideas for Kaitlin yet I do have some plastic eggs to hide, new pom poms, sunglasses, a chocolate bunnie...thats it so far. I do plan on some new flip flops and swimsuit and maybe a dress but I really at am at a loss

for neice and nephews, they all will get some jelly beans a chocoalte bunnie (not processed on any peanut facility, that was a bit hard to find) sunglasses and flipflops. Kinda doing a theeme, my mom normally buys everyone a swimsuite, I gave my sister the idea of giving out beach towels with a note say come on over for a swim so I thought they might need some shades and flipflops. I got the shades now I just need to find the flops laugh.gif

MommyToAshley replied: Ashley has mentioned on several occasions that she wants to make a bird house. So, I am going to try to find a kit at Hobby Lobby or something that she can put together and paint. (Along with some bird seed).

Other than that, I am not sure. I need some ideas too. I am going to limit the candy though. After all the parties and egg hunts last year, we had way too much candy!

kimberley replied: that sounds nice, Edie. i am sure they will love it.

no clue what i am doing for mine yet. prolly sweets and spring stuff like balls, bubbles etc. already got the girls matching easter dresses. blush.gif

CantWait replied: Robbie is getting rollerblades, and I think Anthony may get a pair also with a helmet, or some sand for his sandbox, exciting eh.
They will also get their usually outdoor summer toys, Robbie will get pjs cause he's outgrown them all, Anthony will get an outfit, or two, and that's it.

My grandmother bought them a bunch of chocolate so I'm not getting them any.

HuskerMom replied: Keith is still too young to know what an easter basket is but I can't wait til next year! I don't know what I'll put in it yet. tongue.gif

A&A'smommy replied: I haven't gotten anything yet ohmy.gif yeah I'm crazy but ALWAYS seem to do things like that last minute!! rolleyes.gif

MoonMama replied: I was just thinking about this when I went to Target last night. I have know idea yet. unsure.gif On the other hand I got him a little suit to wear to church and all day on Easter at the mall about a week ago...does that count? emlaugh.gif Hmmm....I just don't know what I'm doing yet, I'm sure it will be something basketball themed though blush.gif they had a really cute basketball Easter basket I think I am doing to go back and get...some toys I'm sure, maybe some little sandals. unsure.gif

Brias3 replied: Honestly, I haven't even THOUGHT about it yet blush.gif

I know I'll also try and limit candy this year. The first reason being that we're going to an egg hunt we went to last year that hides 4,000!!! eggs and we came home with WAYYYY to much stuff last year. The second reason is that the kids forget about the candy stuff the day after and if its there, I end up eating it myself laugh.gif and we leave on our cruise exactly 6 days after Easter blush.gif

luvmykids replied: Kites, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, play dough.

Our Lil' Family replied: I did buy him a chocolate bunny and a bubble gun but nothing else yet. His birthday is the weekend before Easter so he surely won't need much!

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Uh... we still have chocolate and other crap the kids got from our parents last year in the freezer. unsure.gif

We're probably not oging to do anything other than maybe have a special dinner/dessert.

Our parents will no doubt spoil the kids though.

We don't do the easter bunny thing... emlaugh.gif

Bamamom replied: Tripp was only a few months old last Easter so I'm going to "regift" all the stuff that was in there last year - mostly plastic eggs. I also think we're going to get him a sand box and sand since he is really getting into being outside now.

Like yall our grandparents will handle the chocolate side of things just fine on their own!!! rolling_smile.gif And my mom has bought him a ton of books.

All that and the kid has no idea its even a holiday!

sparkys2boys replied: I have an outfit for both the boys, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, some kind of weird blow up puchy balloon thingy. Cameron is getting a scooter and Logan is getting a new ball hockey net with stick and ball. I have some candy for them but only 1 bunny each. The rest is like gum, mini eggs, chips, etc. We also hide eggs for them. Oh ya, they both got new rubber boots..lol!! I will prolly get them one more toy each, something they can use that day if its raining outside on easter day.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Easter baskets? I haven't thought about them yet!! huh.gif

It will be minimal, that's all I know. wink.gif

coasterqueen replied: Well they are going to get a bit more than they usually do this year, mainly because we didn't get Megan anything this year for her birthday (well some clothes and one small toy) and we were going to get them for the girls anyways. Here's our 'plan'.

-Both will get rain coats and rain boots (have had the rain coats bought for a long time now, lol)
-Kylie will get a cheapy pair of roller skates, pads, etc.
-Megan will get a bike helmet
- Both will get a chocolate bunny and some small candies that will be hidden in plastic eggs by the Easter Bunny.

That's it.

3xsthefun replied: I have no idea yet. dunno.gif

lovemy2 replied:
Where did you find these?????

My daughter - yes darling daghter is a huge fan of CARS....she runs the circle in our house - through the foyer, kitchen, dining room and living room narrating the race from cars the whole time - she alternates on who she is by who is winning during the narration rolling_smile.gif As a side - it amazes me how much she can remember - she has seen the movie but not THAT many times!

And Monica - KITES, that is a great idea....

PrairieMom replied: The easter bunny will be bringing "a few" maybe a dozen eggs with some candy, but for the actual basket, each will get a chocolate bunny. (Dh gets Ally's since I'm off the sugar... growl.gif )
Ally got a pink dress and the baby einstein sign with me video, Ben got a pair of jeans, a new t-shirt, and the game "guess who"

Boo&BugsMom replied: Knowing this will be Tanner's last year as an only child I went a little overboard, I think. There isn't a lot of stuff, but the things were a bit more expensive than I normally would buy.
*Plug in Spiderman video game
*Superman Underooos
*Spiderman hat
*Ben10 video
*Dino egg thing you dig for dino bones with
*A few chocolate items

There are a few more things, but I can't think of it all right now.

Calimama replied: Bella has a plush princess basket. We filled it will a Baby Einstein DVD, a couple of bath toys, some fun colored socks, and a pool toy. wink.gif

KingMom replied: I picked up a few small things at walmart but not much candy, cause me and DH will eat!

since it's warming up outside and DH likes to take Colin out, we got both kids a big wooden swing set. I doubt the Easter Bunny will ever be this generous again smile.gif

It even has the bucket style swings so the baby can swing and Colin will probably have to use them at first till he gets used to it.

I can't wait to get it up, we bought it with my bonus the other week at Costco.

Other than, they may get an outfit or two, I'll take them for pics, and a few small items in thier baskets.
