what type of maternirtyclothes do you prefer?

ediep wrote: when I was prg with Jason, I wore the full panel type and it was fine. Now, I find them really uncomfortable so I have been buying some of the newer kind with the strechy waitband that goes all around. I think motherhood maternity calls it "all around belly" That is more comfortable. I have a regular waist under belly pair of carpi pants and so far they are fine, but I wonder what they'll feel like when my belly gets even bigger?

what type do you all wear?

PrairieMom replied: I prefered the panel kind, becuae they stayed up better, but this time I wore mostly the elastic kind that you are talking about. I got SO SICK of constantly pulling my pants up tho. growl.gif
My favorit shirts were cotton maternity tees from old navy.

Ashlynn's Mommy replied: I didn't have to wear them. I was able to wear my regular clothes up until my last month, and then I just wore french terry pants. wavey.gif

MyLuvBugs replied: Anything that fits right now is what I like to wear. lol laugh.gif But seriously, anything that isn't tight on my tummy is fine for me. If it's under the belly, on the belly , or over the belly, so long as I'm not squished into it I'm good! smile.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: Panels always worked best for me because almost off of my weight gain was in the belly so I needed the extra stretch!

Jamison'smama replied: I liked the all around stretch in the early months but when my belly got really round, they started sliding down.

MommyToAshley replied: I liked the kind that had the elastic waistband but had the buttons on the elastic to adjust the size. I had a few pair of pants/shorts like that and they were comfortable my entire PG. I know Motherhood sold them, but I think I bought them from Kohls.

coasterqueen replied: For me it was anything that didn't squeeze my belly. I hated the full panel in the later months for sure.

Boys r us replied: I can't wear the fullpanel ones right now b/c I can't keep them up(especially on my butt).
I love the ones I have from old navy, planet motherhood & motherhood that have the probably 2" band around the top of them..but I, like you, wonder how long those are going to stay comfortable. I'm not that big right now but in another month or two I'll probably be gi-normous and I wonder if they'll sit below my belly okay or not. Right now they come up to the mid belly and that feels great. I just worry that UNDER the belly they will fall down easier.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I wear the under the belly kind with elastic band or drawstring. It is harder to keep them up when you get bigger, but I bought one of those Bella bands that they sell at Mimi (or I think Motherhood may sell a similiar band now), and that helped.

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: My current favorite is my regular shorts open with a bella band. I am 30 weeks and can still do a bit of growing before not bwing able to wear them anymore.

Cece00 replied: I only wear the regular looking pants w/ the elastic @ the back. I can not STAND full panel pants. Seriously.

TheOaf66 replied: my wife started wearing a lot of my clothes laugh.gif

maybe that is a sign I should drop a few lbs
