booey2 replied: When I was younger I went to ringette camp for a couple weeks for a few years.

edited to add: I forgot about the Y day camps, I really only remember going for lots of walks and the bus rides. But I think I had fun.

Boys r us replied: I went to 4-H camp once..but I wasn't too big on it. I was a daddy's girl and not big on going away alone!

kit_kats_mom replied: I went to girl scout camps a lot when I was younger, like 7 to 11 years old. I LOVED them. Then I was involved in the winter guard and I was a rifle and we had sleep over practices all of the time during the summers. As a teen in HS, I went to a YMCA camp and I hated it.

MilMunchMOM replied: I went to a 1 week craft camp!!! How Dorky LOL But I went to a day camp where i took a bus each day...like school. It was fun I really only remember the swimming pool. Oh Yea and one time we carved soap into ????? Or m aybe that was that craft camp???????

5littleladies replied: I went to camp once and I HATED it. I was a very shy girl and my mom had terrible PPD and couldn't take care of us so my dad sent me to camp. Lots of my friends were there but it was very hard for me.

A&A'smommy replied: I went to G.A camp for one week two or three years in a row! I LOVED it! And then I never went to camp when I was in youth group I was really scared. I don't know why though

Julie (jem0622) replied: Nope but I was in Girl Scouts for 12 yrs so I went camping a lot and did tons of stuff with them throughout the school year. Went camping (in a pop up camper) with my family a lot during the summer (on weekends usually).

megsmommie replied: Nope, never got to go to any camps. I would get sent to my brothers house in Washington for summer. Which was ok cause there was always something fun to do in Seattle.

pinka_star replied: I went to horse camp for a week one year when I was about 11. It was AWESOME, we had our own horse for the whole week. Mine was named Honey and she was just the cutest horse ever. I wanted to ago again the following year but we didn't have the money to. Oh well, it was awesome while it lasted!

DansMom replied: I spent summers with my dad and stepmother and half-sisters. It was quite different from life with mom, but also good! My dad was a lifer in the Navy, and so I got to see different parts of the country during those summers. My mom became a hippie after the divorce when I was 3, so our lifestyle and the ideas I was exposed to during the school year were very different from the more conventional lifestyle and conservative politics of my dad. In a way that was good for me I think.

Mom2Boyz replied: I went to WYBC (world youth bible camp) with my church. It was so fun!!!
It was in Arlington Tx, and we got to stay in the Arlington Baptist College dorms. We also go to go to a baseball game, and Six Flags. I met alot of really nice people there.

coasterqueen replied: Several summers my parents shipped my sis and I up to my aunt & uncles and cousins to take swimming lessons. It was like 2 or 4 weeks can't remember. Other than that we did summer camp at the YWCA one year. Met a cute boy there,and he was my first kiss I was in 6th grade, lol.

Elle replied: I never went on summer camp... Well, I went once and they had to call my parents the following morning 'cause I was so homesick! Oh God, now I remember that moment and laugh like crazy, but at the time I felt terrible... And my dad telling me how weak I was the whole way home... He was right, in some way... But they never sent me again!
