Baby bean is due on 3/20/04...will more than likely be induced a week and a half to 2 weeks before due date.

Hopefully I will find out the gender on Monday! (keeping all fingers and toes crossed that he will do an u/s for us) I will keep you all posted......

jem0622 replied: I am expecting but don't have a set EDD b/c I haven't seen AF in almost 2 yrs (between pregnancy and nursing). So I will probably get a slip for u/s when I got for my first appt on Dec. 4th.

Either last week of June or first week of July, I'm thinking.

Schnoogly replied: Zach's mom is she still breach?? Is that why the c-section? Is there a chance they can do a manual turning or have you already talked about that and I missed it? Are they scheduling the c-sec early so you don't go into labor and have to have an emergency one? Just wondering.

I have no idea! I haven't felt her turn...but then again, I feel her do so many wierd things, that I'm not quite sure anymore.... but I have another u/s on Tuesday to see if she is still breech.

I talked with my doc about manual version...and well, to be quite rank - nobody out here really has any "experience" so to speak.... they've only had to do it a few times (i guess babies out here are RARELY breech or something... lol).... and the baby usually flipped right back. So the success rate is pretty low... and the risk of rupture of membranes is pretty high, which would result in an emergency c-section anyhow.... which is why they are thinking scheduled c-section. They don't want me to go into early labor and have complications resulting in an emergency c-section.
