your true religion?

cameragirl21 wrote: Since Dana recently learned that she is a Mennonite, lol, from a quiz, I remembered a quiz I took sometime back that tells what religion is closest to your beliefs. I turned out to be 100% Reform Judaism, which is a good thing because that is what I am. biggrin.gif
Take the quiz here: http://www.beliefnet.com/Entertainment/Qui...liefOMatic.aspx

And if you want, post your results, here are mine, in order of closest to my beliefs to furthest...never thought of myself as a sikh, lol, but the Neo Pagan part makes sense.... Ok, I'm gonna try to take the quiz now...I'm sure I will be up and down 200 times, trying to keep kade out of stuff.

cameragirl21 replied: wow, Mary, this means you are a very spiritual and soulful person! And very deep too and a very profound thinker. And someone who questions authority and the status quo, which btw, is imo, one of the most important attributes of a person who leaves the world a better place than s/he entered it.
Good for you!

msoulz replied:
LOL Jennifer, and I thought it just meant I was confused!

hug.gif Now I feel good. Thanks!!!!! happy.gif

Crystalina replied:
So what does mine mean? I crave to be wife #6? unsure.gif I don't know but I'm pretty sure my statement is not 'pc' . I know nothing about Mormons other then the multiple wife thing.

Or maybe I do know more about them seeing as how it says I'm 100% Mormon! happy.gif I could see the high 80's or low 90's but 100%!? huh.gif I remember a question about gays on there and abortion as well. I'm sure my answer to either of these two subjects would not be the "Mormon way". emlaugh.gif

cameragirl21 replied: hehe, Mary, I meant to also add that according to this, you are not contrary at all! laugh.gif
Crystal--the thing with Mormons is that the are sort of Christian but sort of not, in that they believe in Jesus but as far as I know, they don't believe, as most Christians do that he is the path to salvation. They also believe that Jesus walked on North American soil and have been excavating in parts of the US for years to find proof. During my ALS project, I photographed a boy who is a Mormon and his mom gave me a book called, "What do Mormons Believe?" and if you like, I can check it out (it's sitting untouched on one of my bookshelves) and find out more. Also, my good friend, Alison, is now a Pagan but was raised Mormon and she did the whole seminar at 6am thing for years and will have answers.
I can tell you that one time when I was moving from one place to the next, she told me not to hire movers and called some Mormon missionaries who did all the work and refused to even take a donation I tried to give them for their church. All they wanted was for me to buy them pizza and coke for lunch. Easiest and cheapest move I've ever had, lol, and they were the nicest people.
Btw, polygamy was abolished in the 1860s in the Mormon church so don't worry, you won't be a second, third, or a fourth. laugh.gif
