User Submitted Adiri Natural Nurser Ultimate Bottle Stage 2 Blue, Med Flow (3-6 months) Reviews September 30, 2008 Adiri Natural Nurser Ultimate Bottle Stage 2 Blue, Med Flow (3-6 months) it is hard to pure milk into the bottle without spilling from the tip since the bottle need to be upside down to put milk in. it leak milk from the bottom screw cap. my niece still don't like bottles and she refuse to drink it with this bottle too. There is no different from the other bottle.
September 20, 2008 bottle most different type of bottle i have come across and i have bought many. i had two children who would not take a bottle and this is the closest i have seen to the breast. my daughter did take it better then any other I have tried.
August 24, 2008 Don't waste your time and money Adiri Bottle Review
Leak, leak, leak, leak,... it will leak at the nipple, it will leak at the cover. I read good and bad reviews. I thought I give it a try because I liked the design. I regret trying. I bought 10 bottles. All 10 bottles leaked. I made absolutely sure it was dry and tightly covered. The bottle needs to be upside down to read how much milk is in it. When it's upside down it will leak at the nipple. When you turn it back over all the milk that leaked from the nipple will now be all over the bottle when you remove the cap. Then it will leak at the cover, which is on the bottom of the bottle. One leaked so bad it drained a whole 60 ml of milk while just sitting on my counter. If you don't mind dealing with a fussy bottle and a fussy baby at every feeding then get it. Not worth the price. Surprised it won an award. But, then it is a innovative design award. Functionally it sucks more than my baby. Remember I tried 10 bottles and they all leaked. You may be purchasing the 11th bottle if I would have replaced the ones I bought if I replaced it. But after going through 10 bottles and experiencing all 10 leaking why even bother getting replacements.
August 18, 2008 Good bottle for breastfed baby. I bought this bottle for my breastfed 3 month old who is starting daycare. We tried several other bottles and this is the only bottle we could get him to put in his mouth without getting upset. So far we haven't had any of the problems listed in the other reviews, other than it does leak if you aren't careful because of the somewhat awkward set up. We warm the milk up in a storage container, shake it and then pour it into the bottle and turn it upright right away to avoid leaks. We don't wash it in the dishwasher, which I think has helped keep it in good shape. I did put one in the microwave in a moment of desparation and the nipple turned a bit yellow. Won't do that again. This bottle is a little bit more of a hassle than a regular bottle, but if you are a breastfeeding mother trying to get your baby to take milk from a bottle I highly recommend it. If you are formula feeding I don't really see a point since it is meant to be more appealing to a baby who is used to a breast. In that case just use a regular bottle.
July 20, 2008 good! I bought this looking for something more like a breast because my baby didn't seem to like a regular bottle and nipple; but sometimes it's necessary for him to take a bottle. I haven't had any problems with it leaking like others have written. It does seem to be a little better than a regular bottle but not exactly like a breast. I'm still pleased with this.
June 23, 2008 Safety Issue : READ! Kind of long, but please read ... for your child sake! and for your financial sake!
When my Daughter was 4 weeks old, I purchased some Adiri bottles via well known retail store in Omaha while on vacation since there are NO stores or resellers anywhere near where my family and I are stationed.
Not even one day after using the Stage One Natural Nurser, we had to bump up to the Stage Two, this was because of my Daughter being an agressive eater.
Not even 1 1/2 weeks after starting the brand new Stage Two Natural Nurser, the nipple started to peel. We found it rather strange, and assumed maybe it was just a fluke, so we opened another Stage Two Natural Nurser, again boiled as instructions says, and began use. Once again, not even 1 week later, the bottle started doing the same thing, peeling. My husband and I thought, maybe she needs the fast flow then. At not even 10 weeks old, we boiled and begas to use the Stage Three bottle, which claims to be for 6-12 month babies due to the flow. Again, not even 1 1/2 later, the nipple is peeling.
This bottle is crappy. There is a HUGE safety issue going on here. If the nipple can peel after one week, whos to say that it couldn't detach completely during feeding and choke the baby to death. I know I surely won't continue use when I notice its falling apart.
I bought 1x Stage One, 3x Stage Two, and 3x Stage Three at $15.00 per bottle, and within one month, I have already had to toss $45.00 (3 bottles) worth into the trash because of a crappy product.
I have emailed Adiri direct myself regarding my issue, but have yet to receive a response. If I don't hear a response soon, I will call them regarding this issue. For the time being, I am using ANOTHER new stage three natural nurser, until in starts to peel.
I would NOT recommend this bottle to anyone.
June 15, 2008 Impossible Basically no way to avoid spilling milk everywhere with this bottle. The top that is supposed to keep milk from coming out of the nipple fits too snug around the sides-- it's hard for me (240lb dad) to take off. Yet it's too loose around the nipple, so it leaks. Now you have milk inside the top and milk in the bottle, and no matter which way you turn it as you struggle to open it, it leaks. You're lucky if you don't inadvertently unscrew the bottom trying to get the top off, spilling everything everywhere. The graduations on the bottle count from the nipple end, which makes them useless unless you want to hold the bottle straight up from your kid's mouth to measure how much they've gotten. Not that the number would be accurate anyway, since you've probably spilled half of it. Look elsewhere until these guys get a clue about designing anything other than the nipple itself.
June 9, 2008 Best for breast fed babies I have used this bottle extensively and would highly recommend it. I warm the breast milk before pouring it into the bottle. I think that that this bottle has kept my baby breastfed baby on breast milk longer and it has helped us to keep going. Best bottle I have tried for reflux and colic too. Love that it is BPA-free and that it is safe for my baby.
May 24, 2008 cute, but impractical I thought this bottle looked cute, and it seemed easier to clean. My son did use it, but I found several issues with using it. There is no good way to warm with a bottle warmer. If you put it in the warmer with the cap on, the cap will fill with formula. If you put it in upright without the cap, the bottom opens up and spills into the warmer. Trying to mix formula in the bottle also didn't work well. Even with the cap on liquid leaks out of the nipple. Because of this, even filling the bottle with ready made formula is messy. I was very disappointed and returned this bottle. I'll stick with my Soothies.
April 7, 2008 highly recommend I am breastfeeding but in the first week or two after having my son there was alot of frustration getting established. I had purchased this bottle after reading all the reviews of this bottle and many others. We had no problems switching back and forth with a little formula. The flow is similar to that of the breast which I learned once I started pumping; kind of like when a garden hose has a tiny leak. I would have given it 5 stars but my only complaints are that the ounce numbers on the bottle are hard to read and that the nipple tip though clean seems to get stained. Now I am able to breastfeed exclusively, but this is great to have when I want to sleep in on a Sunday and my husband can give our son a bottle. I will definitely be buying the stage 2 bottle.
