unhappy
I bought this pump because it was recommended. I am unhappy with the suction but am really disappointed with the little white disc/valve that's inside. After a while, while you are pumping, it keeps popping out, you have to disassemble the entire pump, put the little disc back into its place and continue pumping. I have tried to buy replacements of the little white discs, but none of the stores selling the pump sell them. I was unable to find them online. I finally called Avent and spoke to a rep who told me that they replaced the discs with another part, which she'd ship out to me. I called Avent 2 days later to follow up on the order and was told that it was sent out by USPS and should get to me in 5-8 days. In the meantime, it is almost impossible for me to pump milk for my son without constantly taking the pump apart and reassembling it. Yesterday, I called again to tell Avent that I was very unhappy with the pump and the handling of the shipment. The rep I spoke to was actually helpful- she told me to boil the white valve in water and white vinegar, said that it might help the silicon to expand. It worked on one of the valves so far and I hope I'll get the replacement parts soon to see if they are any better. I think what upsets me most is that Avent keeps selling the pumps with the valves even though they are aware of the fact that they wear out and need to be replaced.

Avent ISIS IQ UNO Complete Breast Pump
I purchased this product purely by the rating that it got. And I'm glad I did. My Daughter loves it. She said it was so easy to use and it fits for e-z storage for traveling. She would recommed this 100@%. She has no complaints.

GREAT Pump!
This has all the features needed as long as you don't need to pump regularly (ie not returning to work). It is comfortable and EASY to use and get used to. It's battery pack for pumping on the go is great too! Easy to clean and disassemble/reassemble. Great for pumping once a day, but I would suggest the Avent DUAL pump for working mothers pumping frequently, as it will save TIME.

Great product.
I've been using this pump for about 6 weeks. I chose it over the Medela because I like the Avent bottles and wanted to stick to one product and be able to pump directly into the bottles I'd be using. I think it works great - when I had my daughter 4 years ago I tried the Avent manual pump and liked the design, but found the manaul pumping a little tedious. This has the same design, but does the pumping for you. I have found the motor strong using both electricity and the battery pack. The only drawback is that the motor is attached to suction cup, so you're holding both while pumping and it gets a bit heavy - but I'm fine with it and like the overall simplicty of the design better than the Medela.

Bad Product
I use AVENT bottles, pacifiers and sterilizers. They are good products. But this pump does not live up to the AVENT name. First, the pumping mechanism broke after 15 days. We called AVENT and they asked me to send the pump in to have it fixed. But how was I supposed to express breast milk for a week??? Also, I do not produce tons of milk, and this pump took about 25 minutes to express each breast which makes it very inconvenient with a baby. In the end, through feedback from many friends, I chose to purchase a Medela, and I just want to share that it is amazing. I am done in 15 minutes tops. Yes, it is more expensive, but very much worth the price. I wish someone had shared this information before I bought the AVENT pump.

IT DOESN'T HURT! Nice breast pump!
I have the Medela and this Avent pump as well as the Avent hand/nonelectric version. This Avent pump is GREAT! It does NOT hurt like the Medela. It's very comfortable due to the design of the actual pumping parts. It's soft and you can adjust the settings in varies ways. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the noise of the motor. I find the Medela is just as loud though. In talking with friends I have not heard of any electric pump that wasn't noisy. A whisper soft motor would be nice on any electric pump....

This is a great electric pump in my opinion.

Awful noise, squeaky handpump, unstable electric pump
My advice for anyone who plans to buy Avent Uno breastpump - DON'T! Its utter waste of money and time. My pump didn't work within 2 months of using(I pump regulary 2-3 times regularly at work). Sent it for repair, until then I was asked to use manual pump(which makes squeky noise),which takes twice the time to produce the same amount of milk as electric. Don't know when I'll get the repair/replacement work done. Customer service response is very slow, I had to make many phone calls to expedite the service. I didn't consider other brands before buying, since Avent is 'pricey', I assumed it to be the best. I have heard the operating noise of Medella double electric(pump in style i guess) while my colleagues use it at work, its quieter than Avent electric, and within ten minutes they could express more milk than I can.
Despite the pumps, the Avent feeding bottles are good, Please do research before buying breastpumps, don't fall in for 'high price, high quality' trap! Thanks.

Customer Service is the best!
I haven't even had my baby yet but I am so impressed with Avent I had to share my experience. I went through all the parts to the Isis Uno Complete and found that the electrical parts weren't working. When I called Avent the woman I spoke with was so friendly and helpful! We couldn't figure out the problem over the phone so she emailed me a UPS label to overnight the parts to Avent. I dropped off the package at 5pm and received a call at 3pm the next afternoon telling me they received the parts, found the defect and are sending a replacement that they tested before shipping (overnight). I am so impressed with this company they will have my business again and again!

Not even as good as the manual...
I bought this pump because I have the Avent Isis Manual pump and love it, but going back to work part time I needed an electric of some type. Well, I have had the Isis IQ Uno Complete for two months and I no longer even bother using it. I get faster results and more milk as a whole with the manual. This pump lacks suction, due to what I would consider a design flaw. The mechanical part is incapable of imitating your own pumping because the range of movement it uses is too small. Either that or mine is defective. Either way, I am left with an unusable, unreturnable breast pump which neither Avent nor Babies R Us will do anything about, so I guess I just have to buy another pump. Please, do yourself a favor and don't bother with this pump.

Ultimate comfort, Infinite settings
This product is wonderful!! I breastfed my first child exclusively, using the avent isis handpump for probably 10 bottles total his whole life. Things are different with my daughter. I don't have the chance to catch up on sleep when she sleeps b/c I'm caring for my son during the day. I wanted my husband to be able to help out during nighttime feedings on the weekends. I also wanted to be able to have an evening out. I decided to get an electric pump after renting was too expensive... and those pumps are painful. I researched and finally settled on this pump. It took me 5 minutes to read the instructions .. 2 minutes to set it up , 30 seconds to figure out how to change the suction, and 1 minute to get results... milk. I can't say how much I love this pump. You basically hand pump the way you want it to pump... push the big blue button...and the machine pumps exactly the way you did. Excellent... Excellent... Excellent. Well worth the money. Please don't waste time with the other pumps because they cannot give you the versatility of this pump. Oh, and it comes with a battery pack, that when you put batteries in it regulates the power so there is no loss in suction regardless of the power left in the batteries. It also lights up when you have enough battery power for 1 more pumping session. It says you can get about 6 hours from the battery pack but I haven't tested that yet. I would also recommend the Avent microwave sterilizer... the pump and accessories fit in there wonderfully and it takes 4 -6 minutes to sterilize based on your microwave.
