Pleased with Purchase
So far we have been quite pleased with this purchase. It was relatively easy to install. Loosening and tightening of the straps is simple. The cup holder is a nice touch. We look forward to the flexibility that this seat provides as our child continues to grow.

Perfect for Grandmas!
I bought this car seat so that I wouldn't have to bring my own car seat when flying to my parents. It suited my 18 month old well (and he is on the small side). It could use a little more cushion but it's a good price for an extra car seat at grandma's!

Great onine shopping experience
This is my first time to shop on amazon.com, I moved to Asia for years from CA, USA.
Not only the transaction very clear and fast, also the amazon.com products' indormation, spec., links and money save, all satisfied my tough engineer's requirement. I like this shopping experience, and next time, whatever my wife want to buy, I will suggest her to check amazon.com first. :))

Excellent Car Seat
I got this car seat as one to leave at my sisters house for our visits since we live in Hawaii and since the cost for extra baggage now is about the same as buying another one this will save us money and headaches. This is a good car seat for the right price. I highly recommend.

Suits its purpose
We've had this carseat for a few months now. We bought it to go in my husband's car so we wouldn't be doing the "change the carseat all the time" thing. Also, because her main carseat in our Odyssey is the Britax Boulevard, which is NOT a carseat to be lugging from one car the the other. Sometimes I ride with friends when we go out and I always use this seat, because it's easier to move and install. This seat does what it's supposed to do when it needs to be used (which is only a few times a month). My hubby's car is a Ford Escort wagon and it's perfect because the seat is not so big. The Britax would NEVER fit into the Escort! The Escort is a '98 so it doesn't have the LATCH system, but I didn't find it hard at all to get this carseat installed with the seat belt. I did it by myself and got a really tight fit (it barely moved). I was very pleased with that because when it comes to installing my daughter's carseat I'm fanatical about it being done correctly. I only gave it four stars because of a few things: 1) the straps do get twisted, 2) the plastic strap slots on the bottom sides seem to "pop" off and I have to push them back in until they snap back into place, and 3) I did use this carseat using the LATCH belt in the Odyssey for my friend's daughter and it didn't have as tight of a fit as the seatbelt in the Escort. The seat didn't slide more than an inch at the belt, but I noticed the top of the seat back slid around a lot and pulled easily away from the Odyssey's seat back. To fix this problem, I simply secured the seat with the seatbelt as well and that helped tremendously! Baby Number 2 is on the way and once he or she outgrows the infant seat, they will be moved to the Britax and my oldest will use this seat as a belt-positioning booster. Anyway, this is a great seat for the money.

Update - November 11, 2008
Since I wrote the original review, I realized that the reason the top of the seat was unstable in the Odyssey's captain's chair, was because I did not use the tether on the back of the seat (DUH!). When I used the seat again in the Odyssey (had to clean the Britax), I used the LATCH system and the tether anchor that goes behind the car's seat, and the thing was rock solid! I also figured out a better way to tighten the LATCH belt too. The seat is still working out great too, although my daughter has just about outgrown the top slot. I really want to keep her in a harness, so I've been checking out the new Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 seat. If you're looking at this one, then go for that one! Just my observation. If Graco had that one out when I needed this one, I would have bought that one! But, alas, there will always be something new and better around the bend! Hope this update is helpful to all you lookers!

great seat for protecting kids
This was the best price available for this multifunctional carseat. We expect it should last for the next 5-6 years or more. We highly recommend this for anyone who wants to keep a child safely restrained.

Basic but sufficient car seat
This seat was bought to be the last car seat that we will need to use.

Our son is particularly tall and light for his age, so we needed a seat that accommodated both his height at his shoulders and his weight.

This seat provided the basics and is well constructed. That being the case, the only thing that we feel is missing is the extra padding on the strap that the top of the line seats come with.

The seats are functional and very attractive.

Nice carseat for the price
We purchased this carseat as a "spare" to have in our second vehicle. It is a great choice to use occasionally; I feel it offers more support than a booster without a back.

Good for the price
After shopping at a couple of stores and not finding two of the same seats in stock, I purchased two of these to replace car seats that were just too old. They aren't plush but they work nicely and are easy to install. For the price, they are great (and I didn't have to drive to the store to get them).

Nice seat; amazingly inexpensive
Pros: Light weight; easy to use buckle/tightening; price
Cons: Thin padding; may not fit all cars

We bought this as a second car seat for our 2 1/2 year-old daughter. Although she is at the low end of the weight recommendation, the seat fits her well. Not nearly as well padded as pricier seats, but she doesn't seem to mind, even on long trips. Easy to buckle and tighten. Very lightweight (great for airline travel!) One downside is the configuration of the LATCH clips and belt; on one rental car I had to wedge a folded towel under the seat to be able to tighten it properly. Overall a decent product at an amazing price.
