Mommy's Helper Door Knob Covers What a great idea! Your little ones can reach the door knobs and are closer to turning them open everyday. The same idea that protects your babies from opening those pill bottles is used for the Mommy's Helper Door Knob Covers. The over-sized grip design spins loosely around the door knob when a child tries to turn it, yet is easy for adults to grip and squeeze to open the door. In addition, the Lock-Guard feature covers the door handle locking button to protect against accidental lock-outs.

Threw them out
Depending on the type of doorknob you have, these may be useless. If you have a round, architectural style knob, they're fine. If you have a much more common Kwikset type knob, they're much too difficult for even parents, or kids old enough to use the door properly. If you have the need to put these on a door that will require a key or lock with a turnbutton, think again; they are very deep and you can't get your fingers in the hole on most handsets

Works well but not on smaller doorknobs
We have 1960s doorknobs that are smaller than modern doorknobs. They are really hard to turn with these on and are a little frustrating. My 10 year old can't get into the bathroom! :) It didn't work on my bedroom door at all because it was smooth and tiny. Otherwise, they are better quality than the ones I used with my older kids when they were toddlers and I think they'll be fine once we get used to them. I'm using them to keep my toddler from falling down the basement stairs and from going into her much older brothers' bedroom and swallowing tiny toys.

Cool knobs
Just bought these in hope to keep kids from escaping my nursery at church. Well, I was amazed that it worked with them. But more amazing it also works for adults who don't always have the grip it needs to open. I reconmend it for any age from toddlers to elderly patients. Very god product & great quick shipping.

MY DAUGHTER NEEDED SOMETHING TO HELP HER KEEP MY GRANDKIDS FROM GOING OUTSIDE WHEN SHE WAS BUSY. THESE REALLY DID THE JOB. THEY ARE MUCH SAFER NOW. THANK YOU

Door Knob Covers
I first got these to keep my son from walking in on people in the bathroom or waking up his younger sister.

He soon figured out that (if you place these on the back of a door) if you push the door forcefully enough, they will pop off.

Overall I think they work really well and would recommend them to anyone trying to child proof their doors.

Great product!!!
This product is wonderful! Yes can be a little bit of a pain to open doors even for adults, but it definetly keeps the kids out and that's what it was created for! Glad I bought it and don't have to replace knobs with locks :-)

Difficult to open doors
Very bad product.
It does not have enough rubber surface, so it slides. Therefore, opening a closed door becomes a difficult task.
I don't recomend it at all.
