Pediatricians say that bubbles and an irregular flow in a bottle can create a vacuum that forces fluids into your baby's delicate inner ear. And this can lead to ear infections. Dr. Brown's Natural Flow baby bottle features a patented internal vent that prevents vacuums. The unique natural flow design also reduces the ingestion of air with milk or formula. And that means less discomfort for baby, like colic, spit-up, burping and gas. Bottle is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Medical Design of Excellence Award Winner Made in China.

Dr. Brown is My Hero!
I can't believe it. Two feedings with the Dr. Brown bottles and no screaming baby. My poor 6 week old had terrible gas pain, and we had to switch formula 3 times. Yet, even on the Alimentum (which is pre-digested) she was still crying and pulling up her legs. My husband and I could feel the gas rumble through her tiny body after feedings, and sometimes during feedings. I don't know why I didn't think to try switching bottles until now. I was using the Ventaire bottles, but they are going in the trash tomorrow. From now on, my house is a Dr. Brown only house!

Great but labels chip off
I have the 8 oz size bottles and absolutely love them. However, the labels and measurement labels on the side of the bottles slough off and I find it sometimes in my daughter's mouth and hands! I wonder if it is toxic. Now it is difficult to see how much formula I am making. Other than that, works great.

PAIN TO CLEAN but otherwise GREAT
I'd say these were the best thing I tried with my collicky baby. Those whining mothers that expect to NEVER have spit-up are not living in the real world, but this definitely was a huge improvement - and she seemed to be more comfortable.

HOWEVER, they really don't get clean enough in the dishwasher - I handwash all the pieces with satisfactory results (even tho' its one more detail for me to manage as a full time working mother). I find anything is worth having a happy, healthy baby.

My big complaint is that now she's 6 months old and I had a very hard time finding the #3 nipples. Found them at the factory website, though.

I wish I tried these bottles sooner!
My baby is 4 1/2 months old and he is breast feed. I decided to use Avent bottles before he was even born because they were supposed to be the "best". My baby hates the avent bottles. I tried for more than three months to get him to accept that bottle and he never did. I finally decided to try other bottles. I bought the playtex nurser...didn't work. FINALLY I purchased a Dr Brown's bottle, and he took right to it! I actually cried when I saw him take that bottle, because his whole life he had fought taking a bottle. I went out and purchased more Dr Brown's and threw the Avent in the trash! It is sooo worth the extra effort it takes to clean! THIS BOTTLE IS AWESOME!

Best bottles for a picky mom
I absolutely love these bottles! I have tried Maws bottles and found that they are so noisy and the nipple collapses...Who needs that? These do have more parts to clean, but I just put them all in the dishwasher in an accessories basket and put the tubes with the utensils and it works great.

The best bottles - EVER
I breastfed my first, and now my second, but I like to pump to see how much they get before they go to sleep (I did this with my first, as well). These bottles give less gas than any other I have tried. I didn't use these with my first, but boy am I glad I was told about these now. I notice a HUGE difference.

Dr. Brown is #1
These are the best bottles ever!!! On my first child I used all the other bottles and now with my 2nd child I have only used Dr. Brown's. They do not leak, do not have nipple collapse, they are anti-vacuum and my baby does not suck in any air bubbles. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. And they are not hard to clean, just put the pieces in the dishwasher basket and wash them, that is what I have been doing for 11 months now.

This is a wonderful product
I have to say I would recommend this bottle to anyone. My daughter was very congested & got an ear infection at 3 weeks of age. After starting her medicine she started getting fussy and a little colic. She also used to get the hiccups at every feeding and would spit up an average of twice daily.
I had read about Dr. Brown's in several baby magazines and decided to give them a try after three days of her crying with gas. She slept through the night, a total of 6 1/2 hours the first night. She is now spitting up less, if at all and only gets the hiccups occasionally.

Dr. Brown's may be more "complicated" to clean, as others have stated, but that should be the least of your worries. If your child feels better while eating and it solves your colic problem (even a little bit), it will make you feel better too.

I have three friends that are expecting and I am going to give them a starter kit as part of their baby shower gifts. Again, I would highly recommend their products to everyone (in fact, I already have!).

Earlier this afternoon I was in a hair salon for children and had to feed my 7 week old. Another mother in the salon approached me stating she had switched to Dr. Brown's for her daughter when she started with colic. She also felt this product was wonderful. Many others must feel the same way; everytime I go into the store I always look on the shelf for this product and see that they are 9 times out of 10 the most sold product in the bottle feeding area!!!

pain to clean
I love these bottles because the nipple is easy for my son and they prevent a lot of gas. I don't like the bottles because they are a pain to clean. Cleaning them is not bad in theory but when you have newborn who feeds every two hours you are cleaning bottles constantly and these are more than just a quick scrub of the bottle than rinse. I would use them anyway but now that my son is getting older i am looking for an easier bottle that also prevents gas.

I love these bottles
My baby girl was born 3 weeks early and had alot of problems eating from regular bottles. I tried every bottle on the market and couldn't find one that didn't drown her in formula even the slow drip nipples didn't help. I seen these in the store and read the box and figured it couldn't hurt since I wasted enough money on other bottles. It was the wisest purchase that I ever made!!! The nipples don't drown her with formula, and she doesn't have the gas problems. I even recommended that my brother and his wife get them for the baby they're having due next month!!!!!
