Baby is chewing the straps
It's a soft and comfortable product.
One comment: when a baby is carried face-in, he always tries to chew the straps. Don't know if it's a design flaw or the baby.

I love this carrier!
My baby isn't large enough to do the facing-out method of carring, but I love it for facing inward. I currently have this and a sling - I am using this more and more and the sling less. I can wear her with the Snugli while doing housework as well as being out for a walk without being offcenter like the sling.
