Appears unsafe/uncomfortable
Our 11 week old, 12 lb baby LOVES her Graco Lovin' Hug Easy Entry Open Top/Curve Frame swing so we wanted to buy a take-along swing for when I go to the gym or take her to grandma's house. She takes naps and sleeps in her Graco swing at night. We couldn't find a Graco take-along so we bought this swing at Target. We're going to take it back because as soon as we put her in it she tipped all the way back until she was flat on her back and her bottom and legs were higher than her head! I took her out immediately after trying several positions to see if she could sit more upright. When that didn't work we checked to see if we'd put it together correctly; we couldn't see where we'd made a mistake and it was very easy to put together. We never tried swinging her in it since it didn't look safe or comfortable. We bought it last night and it's already back in the box waiting to be returned.

useful
we bought this when we were moving to replace a swing that was still in storage. it is not super powerful as swings go, but it is perfectly fine for soothing and / or occupying the baby to say take a shower, which is what we primarily use it for.

it doesn't make any noises and it has no toy attachments which is what appealed to us when we saw it. it is a swing. just a swing. we liked that.

we received as a gift another swing with toy attachments and music but it was so difficult to put in or remove the baby with the attachments and once she was in the seat the toy bar covered her so we couldn't see her very well and that proved inconvenient with a small baby. we prefer the swing with no toy attachments.

this one works fine for us. and it is not garish in its appearance, which is a plus.

Poor Design
We got this swing because it sounded like a great idea. Not like the big bulky papasan that we had to return after 3 weeks b/c it partially stopped working. Got this swing home and together, daughter hated it ( but liked the papasan). It rocked her flat on her back, and when it was swinging, her feet were higher than her head at top of upswing. She only weighs 9.5 lbs, but swing didn't swing her well at all. She cried every time she got set in it. It seemed cheap all around.

I ordered the "Boppy rock in comfort travel swing" and it arrived today, she LOVES it. Finally, she had a 2 hour nap in the day, finally- I got some laundry done!!! I highly recommend it so far (don't know how battery life is yet). Good quality. Boppy Rock In Comfort Travel Swing

Great for Colic
My son is very colicky and this is the only swing the he liked. It is great if you have a child that does not like anything over his head. My son is very easly over stimulted and this swing is great for him. It is just a basic swing, it calmed him nicely and let me eat. I only wished that it would go a little faster
