Cute for little little babies
We got the swing as a baby shower gift, and have used it a lot for our 3 month old daughter. It swings really slowly (due to her weight), and she's still just under 12 pounds. It did work great for her when she was really little, but her head can flop over to the side, so that her ear rests on her shoulder/chest, so she's not real secure in it. We keep her propped with washcloths under the headrest to keep her little head in place if she's sleeping. It's really good with portability, and is a decent value for the price, but I'm sure there are much better/longer usability models out there...

Love this swing
We use this swing as our main swing. It is portable and easy to move around. The seat is large enough that my daughter can have a toy to play with in it with her. Depending on how much you use it you may have to change the batteries every few weeks. I don't use the music much but always have it on the highest swing setting. I love this swing becasue I can move it around the house with me.

Very good for a portable
I'm glad I didn't read the reviews here before I bought this swing because if I had, I might have chosen a different product. I really wanted the full sized Rainforest swing but it was out of my price range, plus I wanted it for soothing my daughter, not stimulating, and it seemed like the full sized had a bit too much going on for that. I'm wondering if Fisher Price has improved the item since some of these reviews were written as I'm not finding any of the problems other reviewers describe. First, the seat is not horizontal, obviously it's not a 90° upright chair because it's a swing but the head is considerably higher than the foot, even when the swing is at its furthest arc (it is just about possible to put it on backwards, in which case it would hang with the foot slightly higher than the head). The toys do not fall off the mobile roof, in fact when I had to take it apart to return the first one I bought (faulty screw would not come out of the battery compartment - company exchanged with no question) I had trouble getting them off. To be fair, it's not a mobile, it's a toy bar but the moption of the swing whips the brightly colored toys around giving baby something visual to look at without it being overly distracting. I don't notice a huge amount of difference in the incremental speeds though the first and fifth are quite different. My daughter is 11lbs and 2 months and it fits her well with what looks like plenty of room to grow, and her weight doesn't seem to slow it down much. In fact when we first turned it on I thought even the slowest speed looked a bit too fast but she doesn't seem to mind. The music is a bit tinny and annoying but you can mentally tune it out after a while - it's not rainforest sounds either, just a medley of the usual suspects (Beautiful Dreamer, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star etc.) with some birds sounds and frog noises added. It's very easy to put together out of the box, it all clicks together quite securely and there are just two screws to tighten. The swing mechanism clicks while it's running sometimes but I discovered that if you gently pull the legs out to make sure they are fully extended (just a millimeter or two can make the difference) the clicking goes away. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase.

DANGEROUS!
When I bought this swing, I incorrectly assumed that because it was made by a major name brand it must be safe. WRONG! At about 5 months, my daughter learned grab hold of the bars on the side of swing. When she did this, the seat somehow folded up, and she was hanging upside down from it with her head dangling about an inch from the floor! My husband said from the start that the design was poor. I wish I'd listened to him. Don't buy this swing! Also, avoid swings that hang from doorways. They can be unstable too, and your baby can drop to the floor!

Stay away from this swing
This swing is absolutely horrible and dangerous as well. We didn't get this swing until my baby was almost 4 months old and he was almost already too big for it. It is definitely a safety hazard, as like other reviewers said, my son would grab the bars and end up pulling his head between the stand and the frame. I think any swing on the market would be better than this one in every regard.

Don't Waste Your Money !
I bought this for my son while we were out welcoming daddy home from Iraq.

Up to 25 lbs my behind.. My son was more like 16 lbs and the thing wouldn't swing. I would have it on high and it would barely budge. He hated it. And he loves swings.

Also the animals that are supposed to hang off the banana leaf don't hang on. They constantly fell off.

And like the other person said, he was too tall for it at 4 months old.

It did make cute noises but that is all of the compliments I have for it.

The Aquarium swings are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better in my point of view . .

Dangerous!
I would not recommend putting your baby in this swing--I had my son in it, he slumped over and his head became wedged between the frame and swing arm. The swing was still trying to swing, pushing his head into the bar. Thankfully I was nearby and able to remove him quickly. I called Fisher Price, they were more than helpful and apologetic and are in the process of testing my swing for "product integrity"...however, I would definitely advise finding a different product--this was a scary experience with an infant!!!

Decent
Like many others, we bought this swing to take with us to the grandparents and to have something we could easily move from room to room in our house. Our four month old daughter is pretty squirmy, but we've had no concerns about her safety as long as she is buckled in. She likes the motion and the music and easily falls asleep in it. It's very decent, but not amazing.

My complaints about the piece are:

The legs don't lock in when the swing is folded and it makes it difficult to carry.

The parrot and frog on the mobile section fall off easily. We've had to tape them on.

It didn't take long for my daughter to be completely bored with the parrot and frog. It would be nice in future versions if they could incorporate the rings that allow different toys to be swapped in and out.

Did not like this swing
I tried this swing then this Fisher-Price's Open Travel Swing. In both swings my baby would lean forward and fold himself in half in the seat. The Jungle swing was difficult to haul around since it didn't stay closed well and the "palm tree" was always in the way. Finally I bought the Fisher-Price Aquarium Swing. I found the seat of the Aquarium swing to be deeper and it clicks in place (so it won't fold over on baby) and it is easier to assemble and haul around.

Few quirks but a good swing
My 6 week old really likes this swing. She'll even sleep in it either on or off. I have to make sure I buckle her in every time. If not she slumps over to the side and the swing leans dangerously forward. I'm guessing it's because it bends in so many places allowing it to be portable and fold up. The stuffed toys on top fall off very easily and I'm surprised that I haven't lost them yet. I only use this swing on setting #1 as the others are too fast; I guess for heavier babies. Baby likes it so it works for me. I would probably buy this swing again.
