LOVE IT
I highly suggest this product if you are traveling with children. I used it for my two year old. I used it with the Recaro Signo seat and it worked great and easy to put together. The only issue is that I had to take it apart at the Denver airport in order for it to fit through the checkpoint security machine. It fit through the St. Louis airport though.

Solves some problems, but creates its own
We travel a lot with our son and hauling his stroller around plus the Britax car seat in the airport would be real pain. Having read the reviews I still wanted to give the gogo a whirl. It attachs easily and my son loved being in his own seat; nice and comfy. Moving around was fine although in crowded areas we took him out - way too many ppl not paying attention to leave him so low on the ground.
First problem came at the X-ray - Wont fit because of the additional height of the handle. Off it came. Second problem was the plane itself. We were on a 757 and I knew the seat itself was too wide so I picked it up and took it down the aisle. - this was tough because the aisle are is so tight and the extra weight means that you have to be careful not to wack a passenger in the head with it. Third problem was the plane seat itself. I figured that I could leave the gogo attached - no not really. With this jet (laung haul) the headrests protuded out such that the handle would force the set forward. The results was that the chair was upright and not reclined. I realized this was not ideal on a 7 hour flight so took the gogo off which was a pain. Lastly all the pain of doing the same as we got off the plane.

I love the idea of the gogo but unless your expectations are low this isn't really worth the money or hassle. If the manufacturers could make the handle retract more into the base it would solve both the X-ray problem and the plane seat headrests. We will try it again on a shorter flight and see how it goes. One note to add is that our return leg was easier since they had a bigger x-ray but not all airports have these.

Life Saver!
I used this product on our trip with two yound children, so we actually have two of the gogo kidz. You can remove the quick-release wheels to run it throught the xray machine or ask the security to hand wand the travelmate and car seat if they can. If you need to unattach the gogo kidz travelmatee from the car seat for security, just unscrew one side and slip the strap through the back of the car seat. This took one minute. This product saved us time and stress on our trip and I would definitely tell everyone who is considering buying one that it is worth the investment and few extra minutes. You can leave it attached on the plane seat with your car seat, just ask for a seat belt extender.

A great big pain
We got this for our 1 year old, when we travelled home for the holidays. The trip was long FL to upstate NY, and we had to change planes. Everytime you go through security you have to detach it, which is a pain, because you have to unscrew the fasteners. Which, incidentally, it takes about 2-3 minutes to do and you hurt your knuckles almost every time doing it. Obviously, everytime you sit down in a plane, you have to unfasten it. So, on a trip where you change planes once, and travel from one terminal to the next, you have to detach the product at least 3 times.
You fasten it to get through the large airport, then unfasten it through security. Now, is it worth it to put it back on? You have to find a place to put in on, take your child out of the carseat to do it, then you're going to have to take it off again to sit down on the plane. Then when you change planes, you have to put it back on again to navigate easily through the airport to get to the next gate (if its not right there, which ours wasn't). Then you have to take it off again back on the plane. You get the picture.

This had terrible "ease of use," it really should have had an easier latching system.

Made traveling much easier
We have two year old twins, and the Go Go Kidz Travelmates made our trip the easiest that we've ever had. My only suggestion is that if you have a Britax carset, definitely use a seatbelt extender on the plane. Both of our carseats got stuck on the plane, and it took 8 people and 30 minutes to get them off.

Great! Great! Great! Just remove the wheels!
I love this thing. It made flying with my 20 month old much easier. All you have to do is simply remove the wheels very easily.

To go through security you have to remove the wheels, just the wheels. You don't have to unscrew the whole thing. It fits. You can attach it to the airplane and car seat too just by removing the wheels and leaving the rest of it attached.

We love it and will use it again and again!

Very Useful
I bought this in February 2008 to take my then 11 month old on a business trip. I have used it about 4 or 5 times since. I'm very happy with it. I agree with the reviewer who complained about how much of a hassle the long screws were. I get around that by only unscrewing one side for disassembling. It shortens the amount of time to get the seat back on the cart and protects from losing the screw. I could send the seat & cart through security assembled but on our last trip, it wouldn't fit. Instead, security just manually scanned & checked the seat for me. We usually just use it as a stroller in the airport & as an easy way to transport the carseat. I gate check them. The one time I attempted to bring it down the plane aisles, it wouldn't fit. Since my son still sits on my lap for trips, its just easier. I'm not sure what we'll do when he needs his own seat.

We get all kinds of looks in the airport together. He is happy riding along in his seat and having a seat that he can get in & out of on his own, unlike the stroller. I like it enough that I've recommended it strangers in the airport. Instead of recommending it to family, we just offer to loan ours out.

Wheels fall off
I purchased this product to use for my 2 yr old son for airport travel. The first time I used the product I flew by myself & had to have a lay over in a large airport where there was a lot of walking to get to the different terminals. I put my son in his car seat & then in to the travelmate & started to wheel him to our next plane... The wheels continuously popped off the frame & I had to stop constantly to put them back on. Also, when I tried to wheel the product on to the plane to put my son in his car seat in the plane seat... The travelmate with the car seat wouldn't fit down the small plane aisles. I had to carry the travelmate with the car seat & my son over my head. It was very difficult to get the product on & off of the car seat while having the other plane passengers waiting on you to get off of the plane. I had a very bad experience with this product & I would urge anyone not to deal with the many headaches I had to deal with.

doesn't fit down airplane aisle
This is a great concept and we had several people ask us about it in the airport. Unfortunately with our Britax Marathon carseats it would not fit down the airplane aisle. One trip we took our one year old twins out of their carseats/wheels and carried them separately to their seats. The return trip we carried the babies in their seats/wheels to our seats on the plane. Neither worked well. If there was only one baby and two adults this would probably work perfectly.

traveling with car seat
works great as a stroller when you have to travel with car seat.
Kind of a pain to unscrew from car seat but wheels come off really easy
