Our 5 oz regular neck baby bottles are made from PES plastic, which gives them a natural golden color. They are free of phthalates and free of bisphenol A a suspected hormone-disrupting chemical used in polycarbonate plastic, from which most baby bottles are made.
User Submitted Green to Grow 5 oz. Regular Neck BPA-Free Baby Bottle Reviews November 10, 2008 Cute and safe First time bottle-feeding due to low milk supply, was nervous but our son latched onto this bottle with no problems. Happy to know that the materials used in this bottle are safe for our baby! Super cute bottle too, and I like the minimal, recyclable packaging. Arrived quickly.
November 10, 2008 Great bottle This bottle has worked great for our newborn. And I trust that the plastic is safe.
November 3, 2008 Great plastic bottle These are great little bottles made of a safe plastic. I predominantly use Dr. Brown's glass bottles, but these are a wonderful alternative when going out. What I love is that my daughter can grip them well due to their shape. They don't have a venting system, so they didn't work well as a breast milk bottle when my daughter was younger. One thing to note is that the nipple flow is generous! The first stage in Green to Grow is equivalent to a 2 in Dr. Browns.
August 30, 2008 Doesn't leak! Great expert flow nipples! I've tried tons of bottles. This one is great because the plastic is safe, it doesn't leak and you can buy different nipples for it. The lid keeps it from leaking while traveling. The small size is easy to hold for little hands. I fill up two at a time for my two year old, who may be old for a bottle, but I don't mind because the plastic is safe and she loves them!
June 8, 2008 Your childs heath is priceless! I think anyone buying this product is doing the best for their child. No one really knows all the side effects of BPA and why let a baby ingest these harmful chemicals. This product should have over five stars. I love it and it is healthy for my child and the enviorment.
May 6, 2008 Nice BPA Free Bottle, Works with Second Nature Nipples Our breast-fed baby will only take Second Nature nipples. We've had very good luck with them. The Second Nature bottles are bad plastic. These BPA-free bottles (both sizes) will fit the Second Nature nipples without leaks. I can't comment on the nipples themselves because we don't use them.
