Its design is making consumers and vendors alike rethink the idea of a baby blanket. The SleepSack is the safest, yet softest blanket on the makret. It is made of 100% flame resistant cotton. The SleepSack from HALO is sleeveless to reduce the risk of baby rebreathing into the sleeve. It reduces the risk of overheating and is easy to slip on to a sleeping child. The Sack design means that baby will never kick a blanket off or, even worse, up over his mouth and nose causing the airflow to be disrupted. An inverted zipper allows the parent to change the diaper with ease and also prevents the child from scratching his chin or even unzipping the SleepSack. HALO works hard to prevent SIDS and with the SleepSack they have made tremendous strides. With each SleepSack sale HALO donates a portion of the sale toward SIDS medical research, education and family services.

Improved Both of our Sleep!!
I bought this sleep sack to help wean my baby from swaddling. What a great move! Prior to using this, he would get up 1 to 2 times a night - each time he was completely out of his swaddle and was up enough to want to eat. Ever since the exact night I moved to the sleep sack, I haven't had to go into his room once! He's covered the entire night and now doesn't wake up fully when he stirs. AND, I don't have to worry about loose blankets in the crib. I would wait until your baby has lost his startle reflex before using this, as the arms are still free. If you've got a baby that's been kicking out of his swaddle and is at that weaning stage, I highly recommend it. I've bought a few....A great purchase for a number of reasons!

love sleep sacks but not this one
I love sleep sacks because it is a safe blanket but dont really love this one. The zipper goes down so it can be difficult to get it zipped when he is squirming and the ones that zip up are much easier. I also went to get him this moring and he had managed to unzip it from the top. He is only 5 months old. I wouldnt buy this sleep sack again and want antoher one with a different zipper.

Perfect item for parents
I have purchased the Halo sleepsacks ever since my son grew out of the swaddler blankets. It is perfect! It keeps my son warm and it stays with him wherever he moves in his crib. I also don't have to worry about his face getting covered up by the blanket. He seems to sleep better when he is in the sleepsack...I think he feels more "snuggled up". He is now 18 months and I just purchased the XL size for him. I recommend this blanket for all parents.

A must have!
I discovered this with my first daughter once she was too large to be swaddled. I would check on her, blankets would be off and she would be ice cold. This was wonderful. She would stay comfortable and I did not have to worry about her getting tangled in a large blanket. I bought this one recently for my second child. LOVE it!!!

yay! you have XL!
I could not find XLs anywhere! my child has used these since he was a newborn, after swaddling ended - he sleeps well in these, and he does not get caught up in them, or knotted up. We found our first one 2nd hand in a mothers club rummage sale and thought "hey this would work!" My son knows he cannot walk in it (18 months), and doesn't walk across the crib, though he can stand to complain about being in the crib. I wish it had arms on the fuzzy ones, but we dress my child in a onesie and long sleeved pjs so he's warm enough - and we heat the room to 66 so he's really fine.

Love this product.

Great, safe way to keep baby warm
In the warm summer months, when the temperature drops only a few degrees at night, we need something to go over our son's pajamas to keep him comfortable but not too hot. The Halo cotton sleep sack is the perfect solution. It is light-weight, breathable, and never bunches up around his face. It zips up from the bottom in case we need to do a quick diaper change and don't want to totally undress him. Sleep sacks are recommended instead of blankets to prevent SIDS, so it gives us peace of mind too. Be sure to order the right size for your baby - the sizes go by weight. They might look huge at first but your baby will grow into them (and out) faster than you think!

love these
I love these sleep sacks... its difficult to find lighter ones for summer and these are just perfect. Fleece is too hot for the warmer weather, but you still need something for your baby to sleep comfortably and safely. They wash and wear forever and I only replace them when my baby outgrows each size! I would highly reccommend this item!

Greatest baby invention!
This is one of the best inventions ever! My son slept in this thing until he was busting at the seams. He loved to be swaddled as an infant and when he got too big to swaddle this was the next best thing. We used it everytime he went to sleep and he slept so good in it. Would highly recommend that you get a few of these so you'll always have a clean one handy.

Works great for us
The sleep sack has really worked well for our child. Usually she doesn't let a blanket stay on through the night and then can get cold. The sleepsack (we bought the largest size available) gives her plenty of room to move around and yet keeps her cozy. I bought 2 just to have a spare one.

THIS IS THE ONE THING WE COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT!
We were given a Halo SleepSack as a gift and I had never heard of them before. We started using it when our son was a few months old and used them every single night since and for every nap too. We went through every size and then when he outgrew the XL we were very happy to see that they made them for toddlers as well. The toddler sizes have holes in the bottom so they can walk while wearing the SleepSack. Our son was a very active sleeper and would never have kept blankets on even when it was safe to use them so the SleepSack was a great solution for us. Our son will be 3 in April and just moved to a big boy bed so we are no longer using the SleepSacks but they were our "must have" for almost 3 years.
