HALO SleepSack Wearable Blanket The HALO SleepSack Wearable Blanket is the only blanket on the market this customized to fit a range of sizes to ensure safety for all infants. Its design is making consumers and vendors alike rethink the idea of a baby blanket. The SleepSack is the safest, yet softest blanket on the makret. It is made of flame resistant micro-fleece. The SleepSack from HALO is sleeveless to reduce the risk of baby rebreathing into the sleeve. It reduces the risk of overheating and is easy to slip on to a sleeping child. The Sack design means that baby will never kick a blanket off or, even worse, up over his mouth and nose causing the airflow to be disrupted. An inverted zipper allows the parent to change the diaper with ease and also prevents the child from scratching his chin or even unzipping the SleepSack. HALO works hard to prevent SIDS and with the SleepSack they have made tremendous strides. With each SleepSack sale HALO donates a portion of the sale toward SIDS medical research, education and family services.

a good product to have
i bought this to keep my child warm at night. this is probably my fourth one. it's durable and it serves the purpose. i soemtimes wish that they come out with something even thicker and less easy for the child to unzip. but i am generally happy with this product and would recommend it.

A must have, but...
We've used the cotton sleepsacks for our 10-month old since he was about 3 months and started working his way out of a swaddle. Now that we're getting into colder weather I'm ordering a couple more in fleece. They're great.

HOWEVER, I'd feel better about paying twenty bucks for what is essentially some jersey fabric and a zipper if they would use a better quality zipper (the pulls on all three of our sleepsacks went sideways after a few months -- I finally figured out how to jiggle them back into place so they pull properly, which I now have to do pretty much every time I zip my baby in). That said, our sleepsacks have been washed at least every other day for the past 7 months, so aside from the zipper irritation, I suppose they've held up OK.

I originally bought too large a size, which I was glad about as this is not a choking hazard item. Occasionally our baby's pacifier gets lost inside the sleepsack, a problem which we've addressed by putting an extra pacifier in the crib.

In short: try the sleepsack. Sometimes you can find them on sale, and if your baby is like mine, he'll get used to it almost immediately and pretty soon knows it's naptime just from being zipped in.

Great product!
We used these for our first child who didn't like to be swaddled. Now with our second, we were trying to figure out how to use them but still swaddle her (she's too big for the Halo sleep sak swaddler). What we've been doing is putting a light long sleeve onsie on her then the sleep sak then the swaddler and it works great and she hasn't been getting too warm (we're using the cotton sleep sak.

Great product!
We've used these since my daughter was an infant. She's 16 months old now and we'll use them until she outgrows the XL. It is both practical and a source of comfort for her. She even carries it around.

Best baby product out there! Must have!
Love the Halo sleep sack! a MUST have for every mom! It is so easy to use, and the fabric is so soft. We have tried all the other sleepsacks out there, but Halo is the best by far! the zipper from nose to toes makes diapers changes a breeze! MUST have baby product!!!! Our #1 choice!

I LOVE sleep sacks
I never have to worry if they're warm enough, or if the covers are being kicked off (or for the real young ones, having blankets in there at all).

I love it!
The XL SleepSack fits my two year old and, in addition to making sure that she remains covered all night (we keep our house pretty cool), it prevents her from learning how to climb out of her crib :) She started in the small SleepSack and has progressively grown into each of the larger sizes... she loves her SleepSack and I love the comfort of knowing she is safe and warm in her crib.

Pay attn to size and material, otherwise great buy
I accidentally bought this way too big and in cotton instead of microfleece. What 18-24 mo old that weighs 26-36 lbs will agree to wearing a sleep sack where they can't get up and walk? I think the med. microfleece will be the last one we need this winter for our 9 month old who weighs 16.5 lbs. Up until she was 7 mos we were getting by with the Carters fleeece sleep sack for newborn to 6 months which has sleeves. I personally like the warmth of the sleeves and don't think rebreathing is an issue. I like having 2 in case one gets soiled by an overwet diaper. If you think your baby may have an overfull diaper you have to reach in and check the cotton underclothes to see if it's wet because it won't go through the fleece. I like to layer under the sack with a long sleeve cotton onesie or a full pajama (cotton/fleece) or both if it's really cold, but I do like at least a short sleeve cotton onesie next to the skin.

Best baby product ever!
I have been using sleep sacks since my baby was 3 months old. He is now 19 months old but uses 3t cloths, do the extra large was a blessing. I could not be without it. Its very soft and the baby stays covered the whole night!! Must buy, worth every penny.

Excellent for a little guy who tosses all covers off
Our little guy tosses covers off but this does a great job of snuggling him and he can even walk in it although it does not have places for his feet to come through.
