(Always test on the inside of your arm first to prevent burns.)Happi Tummi is the only Pediatrician recommended colic relief waistband that naturally relieves colic and gas pains in moments. How? The heat activated 100% herbal formulation transfers with the babys own body heat bringing baby relief within moments and it is ready to use in 15-20 seconds.
User Submitted Happi Tummi Natural Colic Relief Waistband Blue Reviews November 4, 2008 give it a try I tried this with my 1 month old baby and it worked 80% of the times I used it, but I am a first time Mom and I really don't know how to recognize the reasons why my baby is crying yet, so maybe that other 20% that it didn't work was because she was crying for a different reason. I think is worth trying it. I think my baby likes to feel the warmth on her tummy and it also smells really nice after you heat it up, it helps her clear her sinuses too.
October 31, 2008 Great product! This product is a must have for anyone with a newborn! This would always help calm my baby down if she was fussy due to gas or upset tummy. Plus, it's easy to use and small enough to travel with. Great product.
September 18, 2008 Willing to try I was willing to try anything to make my baby happy. Sometimes it calms her and sometimes it doesn't. It does calm the parent too though. I woul dbut it again because it helps get her to slepp. I still may have to hold her, but it does help.
September 14, 2008 Okay The Happi Tummi was not the miracle I hoped it would be. It is soft and smells really good. I warmed it up 10 - 15 seconds in the microwave and had no trouble with burning the baby. I put it on her tummy and wrapped a blanket around her. These together would warm her up and I think that helped to calm her down. She did not have colic, but fussy, gassy evenings.
August 29, 2008 Buy it--and these items too! My baby cried from 10am-10pm everyday. We tried every wive's tale out there. Here is the secret formula that helped us: 1) Happi Tummi (only heat it for 20 sec) 2) Hyland's Colic Tablets (very cheap and work WONDERS!) 3) Mylicon drops 4) Gripe Water 5) Fisher-Price Baby Wellness "No More Crying" CD (odd--but it worked!)
Bless your heart if you are dealing with colic right now. It will be over soon and all will be MUCH better!
June 30, 2008 Simple, yet effective We bought this because our 4 week old son cried all the time due to gas and stomach pain. Although it doesn't cure the problem, it makes our son much more able to handle the pain. He still cries, but for a shorter amount of time and it helps him fall asleep. We have been using it for about 3 weeks and are very pleased with the results. Just a tip, only microwave for 15 seconds. This is plenty of time to make it warm enough for our son.
June 2, 2008 Very good product I was apprehensive to try this product. My son was very fussy and gassy starting at about 3 weeks old. So I went ahead and thought I'd try this out, hoping for the best. To my surprise this product worked. On several occasions it would calm baby down from a screaming fit and put him to sleep. On other occasions it would help alleviate his pain with the gas. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing some help. I also liked the fact that it was all natural ingredients.
May 2, 2008 Greta Product! We used the Happi Tummi on our daughter from 1 month old to 6 months old when she would get fussy from gas. I would keep a onesie on her and wrap this around her after placing it in the microwave for 25 seconds. I would then wrap a blanket around her and hold her. She would go from fussy to asleep in less than 4 minutes. I didn't worry about the item burning her like a heating pad and the warmth made her gas pain feel better. I loved this product so much I started buying it as a present for baby showers.
April 29, 2008 HAppi tummy this is great if your baby has colic or is fussy this seems too do the trick. and the smell is nice and will even open your own sinus while holding your baby.
April 11, 2008 other helpful suggestions So, before I begin my review of this product, here's our background... our son who is currently 6 weeks has had to be sent to the hospital with gas pains so severe that the emergency room doctors were concerned that he might be trying to pass a kidney stone. Turns out he was allergic to soy, we had tried breast, standard formula and lactose intolerance formula. He had a negative reaction to all (including breast believe it or not, I went through tests also to determine what was in my milk even though I was on a mild diet.... cause was deemed later on to be for a substance need, our baby needed rice formula). So..... we tried just the rice formula with the children's mylicon with the VentAire bottles.... somewhat of an improvement, but our child was still needing to go to the doctor weekly for checkups without much success, our pediatrician would even call us daily to see how he was doing. Constipation was questioned, but was never an issue. Our breakthrough occurred when we took our son to a specialist appointment and the lady asking us if our son had excess gas since she noticed that Mylicon was listed as one of his meds. I stated quickly yes and told her of our ordeal. I was told that she was the grandmother of 5 children and a mother of 3 and had tried EVERYTHING to cure their extreme colic. The remedy they found, Hyland's colic tablets, Dr. Brown's bottles, and rice formula. After the doctor appointment I went to the store to give these products a try....... and it was like an angel had spoken to us. Our child could breathe again and was longer tense in the body, as he was making progress against constantly trying to push. I know that I'm being candid but I am hoping that this will help other parents and children that have been or will be in our situation. We are on day 4 of the product switch and WOW, he's a brand new baby! If these products can help a child who's been hospitalized, hopefully these can help yours as well. Pedialyte also works as well to help calm the tummy. I've been using tylenol every 5 hours (excluding when he sleeps) for the first week and have been continuing to use the Mylicon to help with the surface gas. Burping has never been an issue, but his burps and toots have become louder and more productive, sometimes just shifting him in our arms can help him to expel gas! I'll be making this post in numerous areas in hopes to help people.
Hyland's colic tablets, Dr. Brown bottles, Enfamil AR Lipil, infant's tylenol, gas drops is literally our formula to success.
