User Submitted Kelgar Deluxe Snug Tub Just Ducky Reviews November 13, 2008 Great tub! We've loved this tub since day one. My daughter is 10 months and we went from the infant reclining tub, to the kitchen sink, to this tub. I would recommend it to anyone. She loves the freedom of being able to stretch out and splash and wiggle around. She has wiggled herself onto her side and stomach and I love having the piece of mind that she's not going to hit her head on the hard bathtub. It also saves a lot on water since you don't have to fill the whole tub. I feel the tub is made out of a very durable plastic. As far as the rings that are included and the ring holder and duck on the side of the tub, I don't have a positive or negative oppinion. We don't use them or atleast we haven't yet. My daughter is too pre-occupied with splashing and playing with her toys. Again, I would recommend this to anyone with a small child just make sure he/she is old enough and strong enough to sit up.
October 3, 2008 Perfect for a baby that has out grown an infant tub Our little grew outgrew her infant/toddler tub because she is so long. We bought this as an alternative and love it. Our little one enjoys the ducky attached and I love how she can splash more in it. I recommend this although it is a little hard to fill up. Once I got used to it, it was fine.
September 30, 2008 great product, didn't last My daughter loves this tub, and it allows us to use far less water. My critique is that the tub didn't even last a year before it started to develop leaks along a seam. We patched the first leak, but it soon became obvious that the entire seem was faulty. My advice: the tub is a great item, and I am buying a replacement, but I wouldn't bother with the "deluxe" version--go with the cheaper model incase the seam issue is not just a problem we had.
September 7, 2008 great tub! my seven month old loves this tub! He has a lot of room (& he is 21 pounds!) I also use this to put him on the floor when I'm showering so he can play with toys and be contained. I highly recommend!
July 23, 2008 poor product This is an extermely bad product. The bathtub opened up a leak after a couple of weeks of use in the place where the duck is conneted to the tub. Basically, if you get it, you can not allow your child to play with the duck. My 8-mo old son liked squeezing the duck when I was giving him a bath. Now the duck is peeling. Total waste of money.
June 1, 2008 Splish Splash Safety My daughter outgrew her newborn/infant tub quicker than I had expected and I saw this one online and it looked pretty safe and easy to set up.
She loves to play with the rings and trying to get the ducky who just happens to "quack" at her when she's not looking. It goes great with my duck motif and it is safe and easy to drain.
The only thing that made it 4 stars instead of 5, (And I can't think of a way to make it any better in this aspect) is that it is kinda big and in the way when I need to take a shower.
May 29, 2008 baby rubber ducky bath I thought this was great but my son doesn't. He became afraid the second time he bathed in this little tub. Maybe sometime soon he will like it again! He does enjoy playing with the rings and I love that the little ducky squeaks.
May 28, 2008 Strong smell Can't rate this product based on its durability since didn't use it much. However, I didn't like the smell of the plastic its made of. After a week outdoors and a good soap wash, it still smells strong. Did anyone had the same experience? Or it's just me...
April 22, 2008 Great tub I really like this bath tub and so does my five month old daughter. The only problem is that she is a little too long for it. She likes to lay down in the tub but when she does she hits the bottom of the tub. Besides that I love it and it is easy to store.
March 26, 2008 fun tub I bought this tub for my 6 month old daughter and she loves it. I put it right in the big tub and bathe her. It's nice not to worry that she'll hit her head on the big tub and she enjoys the toys that come with it. It was easy to inflate and seems sturdy and well-made. My older daughter, age 4 even gets in with her little sister so there is plenty of room to grow for babies. It's definitely a bit hit in our family!
