Waste of money
It wasnt warm enough for me to shun the blankets entirely, and my 7 month old could kick it hard enough for the elastic to snap out of the infant seat and bundle up next to him. Besides it is for infant carriers and not strollers as advertised. I couldnt use it till the recommended weight limit since it was small. A footmuff and a hat is the way to go!

terrible!
I wouldn't recommend this product. It's flimsy and not at all warm like I would have thought it to be. It also doesn't fit the Graco Snugride carseat tightly, so it "falls in" on the baby's face. I had an old no-name brand car seat cover that was much better. Too bad I let someone borrow it!

The product was easy to attach to my Graco snugride carseat but it still lets colder air around the elastic base as well as quite a bit of air through the "head hole" If your baby is already bundled it's not bad for keeping some wind off of the baby but I wouldn't use this as their first defense against the cold.... brrrr.

Nice Carrier Cover
I had a carrier cover for my older three children that I really liked, but unfortunately it had gotten very tired and needed to be replaced. I ordered this cover and have been very happy with it. It seems to keep my son very warm and cozy even in the nastiest conditions. I do wish there was some sort of flap that would completely cover his face when it's raining or snowing. Overall it's a good product!

very well made..
This product was easy to place on the car seat, very durable, and the zipper in front made taking my son in and out a breeze. The only thing was I still had to put a winter jacket and put blanket on him in the cold.I thought it would be thick enough for me to just place a hat on him and his winter clothes.Its definitely not warm enough for Alaska. I say its good for the cold autumn, not in the middle of freezing winter.I have to go buy another one that is a little thicker for the winter.

Great item!
This is great for the winter. It keeps the baby cozy warm, and is not big and bulky. We had the bundle me for my older daughter, but we went for a car seat safety check and were told that it wasn't approved for driving, since in a major accident, the part underneath the child can shift. That seems extremely unlikely to me, but I still like this one more. It is just what you need, without added bulk. My son seems nice and cozy in his. (We have the one in navy, not pink). And I think the price is great (about half of what the bundle me costs!)

Great value for the price
This carrier cover is a good value for the price. There are heavier and better quality materials on the market but they are very pricey. Depending on the climate you live in, I find this to be adequate warmth (I live in NYC). If it's really cold out, I just make sure to put a blanket on the baby first. Even with the blanket, it's super handy & convenient. Sooo much better than jackets and snow suits, etc.

great item
I am very happy with the Kiddopotamus carrier cover. It fits the carrier perfectly and keeps my little one cosy and warm. The fleece lining is great and the cover is nice and light and wind proof. I would highly recommend this item.

So convenient
- So much easier than trying to struggle with a coat/snowsuit
- Fits my european brand car seat just fine
- If my son is asleep when I get home, I can just unzip the cover to keep him from overheating, and let him finish his nap
- I thought the nylon would be a little more like Gore-tex "wind-stopper" material, but it seems to keep the wind out just fine anyway
- Overall, a great purchase!

must have
I live in Alaska need I say more. I used this Jeffery 1st winter. And past it on to a good friend. So nice to get out the door fast and keep your little one warm. EZ to wash.
