User Submitted Maclaren Quest Sport Stroller Charcoal and Silver Reviews November 9, 2008 Well designed, compact, light, sturdy, just a little tricky to use We bought this stroller in place of a cheap umbrella stroller and have used it for a couple of weeks now. The stroller is really well built with quality materials. While it has some really intelligently design features, these features can be a bit tricky to figure out at first. Once you figure out how to use the stroller's features, you will love it. Further, despite the features, the stroller is light and has a convenient handle at the side to lift it when folded. I'm sure this stroller will last us for a few years.
November 3, 2008 Great light weight stroller! I really like this stroller, this is my 4th in 12 months. And after going through a graco, 2 chicos, and a jeep stroller I can honestly say this is worth the extra money. My only caveat is that it needs cup holders!
October 7, 2008 Great Stroller and Easy to Use After much hesitation and one other cheaper umbrella stroller, we broke down and bought the Maclaren Quest. And although it's not inexpensive by any means, it's a great stroller. It's extremely lightweight and easy to use as well as comfortable for my 9 month old son. The only drawback is the small basket below that is hard to access, especially when the seat is reclined. We just use our diaper bag for storage instead of the basket.
Overall I would highly recommend this stroller to anyone looking for a compact, lightweight and higly portable stroller.
August 27, 2008 the best stroller eveeeeer! I bought maclaren quest charcoal and lime green 3 days ago I dumped my heavy Graco stroller which i only used for 10 months just a waste of my money, this stroller easy to manuever, love to walk with my 10month old baby boy, worth buying for and easy to fold.
August 8, 2008 Great Stroller This is the best umbrella stroller I found. We bought it because we did not want to take our huge one to Disney World with us. My son loved being in it - which is what matters most. He fell asleep in it easily and it was easy to recline him once he was asleep. I loved how smoothly it moves and it was easy to fold up to take on buses and such. The only complaints I have is that I had to add my own cup holders and the storage basket is not that big. That is true of any umbrella stroller though. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.
August 8, 2008 very happy We bought this stroller 2 days before heading to Europe. It was pricey compared to other umbrella strollers but we've been really happy with it. I could easily fold it up while wearing our 1 y.o in a sling, and then carry it up & down several flights of stairs, into the crowded subway, back out, up and down the stairs again, unfold it, and then plop the kid back in. I think I repeated this sequence at least 5 times on our trip. Overall it seems pretty sturdy so far. You can steer it with one hand, and roll it over cobblestone no problem. Wish the canopy was larger. The current one doesn't do much.
August 4, 2008 The Maclaren Sport is practically perfect in every way... I ended up ordering this stroller through another website but I have the very same model. I absolutely love it! It maneuvers through a crowd like no other stroller that I have tried. This is a lightweight stroller that also manages to pull off a trendy appearance. I ordered it for my daughter when she turned eight months old. The closure and straps are so secure that I never worry about her flopping around, or falling out. The sunshade gives adequate coverage. The only minor flaw in my opinion, would be the lack of a flap window in the sunshade; so I can see her while I am pushing the stroller.
July 29, 2008 the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had gotten this stroller for my 1 year old and now he is 6 and i still love it and it was used everyday and iam having another baby and i dont think i need to buy another one it is still like new after all the years and use i love it!!!! so worth the dough!! :)
June 21, 2008 Love this stroller... Nice and compact and great quality. It maneuvers so smooth and is easy to open and close. Love the color. Would highly recommend...
April 6, 2008 Amazing stroller! This is the one to buy! After doing quite a bit of "stroller" research for our 1 yr old boy, we decided to get the Maclaren Quest Sport Stroller in Charcoal and Silver. It is without a doubt the best stroller I've ever had. Our main requirements were that it be lightweight, sturdy, compact, durable, maneuverable and comfortable for both our big baby boy and ourselves. While the price is higher than what one would like to spend on a lightweight stroller, the Maclaren is absolutely worth every penny! It is incredibly easy for me to hold my son on one arm and take the stroller out of the trunk with the other. I am able to recline the stroller whenever my son falls asleep, and it even has a pull-out leg rest for added comfort! It's good for both short and tall parents. Turning is very smooth regardless of what surface I use the stroller on, or how heavy my little one is (he's already 30 lbs). In my opinion, it has all the key features of a full size stroller without the added weight or cumbersome design.
