This clever universal replacement clamp for crib mobiles helps you avoid crib damage from screw-type clamps. Large rubber grippers help secure the mobile and protect your crib rail at the same time. A hole at the top of the arm accepts most music boxes that use attachment hooks. The mobile attachment clip is not a requirement of babyearth.com mobiles, as all our mobiles include a traditional attachment arm, such as the post and knob variety. This clip is an enhancement that may prevent some types of crib damage or serve as a replacement for lost or damaged arms. Length of 21". Adjusts to fit crib rails up to 2".

perfect fit for newer cribs
This worked perfect on my daughter's crib. It was wide enough to fit on the wide rails to make the mobil fit the area I needed it to go. It was easy to attach to the mobile.

Mobile Attachment Clip
I looked for months trying to find a mobile to attach to the "play yard" I purchased for my grandson. I just happened to "run into" the mobile attachment clip while browsing through Amazon.com. It's wonderful to have the clip with mobile now attached to the play yard, and my grandson loves "talking" to the mobile, where before, there was nothing to keep him occupied for a short while when he was in the play yard.
I would recommend this attachment clip to anyone needing something like this.

Great but a little too short
This attachment was exactly what we needed when our mobile didn't fit our "non standard" crib. It works perfectly and was exactly what we needed. The only drawback is that it hangs much lower than I expected. So it may not work if your moblie already hangs low or is long. But it'll work great for us!

Another thing that doesn't work...
We have a convertible crib and I have been having the hardest time finding a way to hang a mobile. I thought that this product would be our saving grace... but now we are stuck with a product that doesn't work and not worth the money in shipping to send back. Extremely disappointed because the clip does not open far enough to fit the bar on our crib. Don't waste your money unless you know for sure it will fit your crib.

Doesn't fit all cribs
If your crib has a rounded rail, it won't stay upright. The weight of the mobile will pull it down. Unless your crib has a rectangular rail to mount it on, this arm will not be of much use to you.

Doesn't Work with HABA Mobiles
I ordered this product with the HABA Sunshine mobile because Amazon recommended it. The mobile is much to large and hangs too low if used with this clip. I think it would work with other mobiles, just not this one.

mobile savior
We were so sad when our daughter's mobile did not fit on her fancy sleigh crib. No one tells you the convertible cribs are so difficult to fit. But after buying this clip, the mobile fits and our baby loves her crib. Note that the clip won't fit all cribs either though as it only opens to 2" so if your crib sides are wide this is not the product for you.

Didn't Fit My Convertible Crib
Unfortunately, this didn't fit our convertible crib. The clamp only opens up 2", and the slats on the top of our crib are wider than that. Good concept, but it just didn't work for us. I guess we'll have to go mobile-less!

Works great on non-standard cribs!
I ordered this product because the traditional mobiles would not fit on my crib, which has wide molding all around the top, and I had a particular mobile I really wanted to use. This provided my solution! It clips onto the top of the crib without damaging the crib, and the handle is very secure. My crib is pretty wide at the top and I had no trouble with fit. Another bonus is that you can easily switch out the mobile if you want to want to use a different one. I've now decided to alternate between two different mobiles to give my baby (and me!) a little more variety.

Great clip
Got this clip because our crib did not come with an attachment. The actual clip part is easy on the wood and will not damage the crib. The arm can also bend, which is a nice feature. Great extra arm or replacement!
