User Submitted Munchkin White Hot Inflatable Duck Tub Reviews November 23, 2008 Not what it's Quacked up to be... I got this tub for my son when he outgrew his infant tub, but he doesn't like it, and he always loved splashing and bath time in his infant tub.He just doesn't seem comfortable in it, and it's not as large as it appears, I was surprised at how small it is. The plug for draining the tub doesn't stay closed well, it keeps popping open and then I have to refill it with water.
October 20, 2008 love it I love this tub. My baby has been using it since she was 5 months old. It's small enough to control her yet roomy enough for her to splash around. She also loves the duck sounds it makes. This tub has now become my new baby shower gift. I blow it up and fill it with all kinds of bath needs, towels, wash clothes, baby soap. Always a hit.
October 15, 2008 Perfect for the Price Can't be beat for the price. My son's been using it since three months (when he outgrew his infant tub), he's now 6mos old and it looks like it'll serve him thru at least 9mos ( maybe more) if there are no serious growth spurts. Ours doesn't leak, the suction cup stays on, inflates in about a minute and has traveled well. He's comfortable, doesn't slide around and has a ball in his little tub, especially when we make it quack.
October 1, 2008 perfect until 1 yr My daughter loved this tub (and the quacking). After 12 months she was ready for a non-slip adult tub though.
September 20, 2008 Great tub but the picture they posted shows a dangerous scenario There is a photo someone posted of their kid in the tub and it is the most dangerous scenario you could imagine. Look at the one with the tub on the countertop and all the electrical outlets behind with things plugged in. If your kid started splashing it could short out the electric or if the tub overflowed and water got on the counter there could be a serious danger of electric shock with the plugged in electric toothbrush and hair dryer.. Not to mention how close the tub is to the edge of the countertop and hanging over the sink. I cannot believe those people really didn't think about safety before giving their kid a bath there. That electric outlet is not GHI (which is now a type of outlet required by law at least around here) so therefore it will not shut off should an electric shock occur. I hope their kid is ok but please whatever you do.. be conscious of where you give your kid a bath. The tub is awesome by the way.. really great especially when your baby is a bit wobbly when sitting up or learning to.
September 19, 2008 Fantastic toddler tub!! I have 2 yr old twin boys and they absolutely LOVE this duck tub. I have no problems bathing them in this whatsoever. They get so excited at bath time because they get to quack the duck lol! I am dreading when they get too big for it they will be so sad. I tried to convert them to the big tub but they just screamed they had to have their duck. I would totally recommend this to everyone its only $10 and it can't be beat. Very durable and safe.
August 27, 2008 Fun at bathtime This tub is really cute! It quacks when you squeeze its nose, and my daughter, who is 9 months old, fits in it perfectly. It also has a suction cup for hanging on the tub wall. However, it's advertised for use up to 24 months, and I can't imagine that she'll fit in it at that age. But, at this price, its worth whatever use we can get out of it until she outgrows it.
July 16, 2008 Best tub ever! $10!!! This tub is used almost every night, still quacks like a champ and is easy to drain, hang and be tossed around! Our son is almost 1 year and now we want the same thing but bigger. This purchase is up there with the bottle warmer!
July 14, 2008 My son is 14 months old and still loves his duckie tub! We bought this for my son to start using when he was he was 5 months, he's now 14 months (small in weight, but above avg. height) and he still uses it. He loves this thing to death.
The only thing that I didn't like about it was the suction cup that they gave you to hang it by was crap. I bought a different suction cup with a hook and used that one and it hasn't given us any problems. :-) But really, when you are only paying 10 bucks for the tub, it's still an amazing deal.
June 17, 2008 My baby loves it. This is the only bath tub that I have owned (used the sponge things before, he hated them and always tried to roll over.) My baby loves bath time! I just make the Quack, Quack sound and he gets all excited. The first time I used it my whole family watched and laughed. My sister-in-law shows it off to people. It is great for travel. He will grow out of it long before he hits one and a half, but then he can just play with it. I was also able to find a Munchkin Washcloth duck that makes the same noise at a local grocery store. This is such a fun product and much better than the thirty dollar plastic thing I was origionally looking at.
