User Submitted Pampers Easy Ups Trainers for Girls, Size 5 (30-40 Lbs), Value Pack, 80 Training Pants Reviews October 17, 2008 Beware - different design than size 4 My daughter wore the size 4's no problem, but within 24 hours of wearing the size 5's, she had a flaming bum. Upon side by side comparison, the size 5's have an elastic strip that goes right down the middle, front to back, and whatever it is made of created a horrible allergic reaction that took 1 ped visit and 7 days to clear up. I wrote to pampers who denied that there was anything different between the 4 and 5, even though I could SEE that there was. Giving them the benefit of the doubt and wanting to recoup my $30 investment, I tried the diapers again, with the same result. After 2 years of only Pampers, we are now a Huggies household.
July 7, 2008 Great value! Great value if purchase from Amazon subscribe and save program. Free shipping is a plus!
March 22, 2008 My daughter like's the Dora design, but... the sides are too flimsy, and she often tears them when pulling them up, so we end up wasting quite a few along the way. Other brands have readjustable side openings (with a velcro-like closure) so will stand up to a 3-year old who is not the gentlest of pullers; especially when she's trying to quickly pull them up to get back to playing. Luckily, she only needs them when we're going to be away from potties for a while during road trips and at night to prevent accidents. They're a lot cheper than the other brand, though, and have a lovely powder scent.
February 27, 2008 My Favorite - By Far! These are by far the best pull on diapers I've found. I've tried huggies pull ups and other versions, but none of them hold up overnight the way these do. The only thing that would be nice is if pampers would add the velcro sides like the huggies have...
February 14, 2008 I love them!! My daughter is 2 years old and has it in her mind that she's a big girl now. She refuses to wear regular diapers since they are for babies. She loves these pants. Although she doesn't have the potty training down yet, these pants have never leaked. She even wears them to bed. I would suggest these to anyone.
January 19, 2008 GREAT VALUE GREAT PRODUCT...GREAT VALUE...LOVE THE SUBCRIBE AND SAVE...WISH IT WAS AROUND WITH THE LAST TWO KIDDIES..
January 4, 2008 A must have when potty training These work great for potty training. They are easy to get off and on while standing. You do have to take pants off to put a clean one on, but that's easy enough. I've tried the Huggies brand that can easily tear off at the sides, but sometimes they don't stay shut (velcro-like). These can be torn off too but have sturdier sides.
December 17, 2007 Life Saver At 4 yrs old my autistic daughter was still having toileting issues. Her size made it difficult to "squeeze" into the smaller sizes (the size 6 was difficult to locate in the stores). Her NEED to have Dora involved in her toilet training and the reliability we've already experienced while using the Pampers Easy-Ups made this a no brainer for us to continue using! She never woke up to a wet bed or had accidents that would go throught her clothes. I recommend them to those who need the larger size.
December 8, 2007 Easy up but not the most effective... We purchased these after rave reviews by family members. After receiving them and trying them out I was a bit disappointed in the product. They don't offer great leak protection, and they are not able to be tightened (obviously)...possibly creating the leak issue. My daughter is tall and thinning out and these just dont fit her that well. I think that if you have the right sized child they would work fine. However, I do keep some around the house for when she is having a I-dont-want-my-diaper-changed fit! They work great b/c you dont have to try adn get those tabs tightened. So for us its one of those catch 22 situations. Love Pampers but not these 100%
November 22, 2007 For toilet training only These should be labeled training pants not pull-on diapers. I bought these for my daughter after she turned two because of the convenience of putting them on and for less bulk. She is currently not interested in using the potty chair so these leaked all the time. It seems like they can only hold one bladder's worth. I got so tired of changing her clothes that I went right back to Pampers Cruisers. I'm sure Easy Ups work much better if your child consistently uses the potty and has only occasional accidents.
