User Submitted PiddlePad Waterproof Seat Liner Reviews December 22, 2008 Did the job I am potty training twins, and although I only put this into action ONCE... It saved the day. My daughter had an accident in the car, and not ONE drop made it to the seat below. Throwing this pad in the wash verses pulling the car seat out, dissasembling, and removing all padding, washing, etc., is a no brainer, and worth the cost. :)
December 7, 2008 Makes me wanna cry I put this on my baby registry because we had constant blowouts with my first child and now that we are expecting our second I thought it would be a great product. Someone purchased it for me and now I'm going to ask them to send it back. It simply does not fit in the infant carrier seat. If there were slots for the straps it would, but then it wouldn't be protecting the seat. I just wanna cry because money was wasted.
November 2, 2008 a must-have for all carseats After washing the seat cover several times, we found the piddle pad at a local retailer. It was awkward to place directly on top of the seat, so I put it under the seat cover.
We had a recent accident, and the piddle pad caught everything, and saved my car's upholstery.
I just ordered 3 more to cover our second child and another set of car seats. The cost is covered with the first accident -- no more cleaning the upholstery!
October 9, 2008 Decent product The piddle pad seems to be the best on the market, however I wish that it had holes for the belts to go through on the sides. Velcro, or something to hold it in place would be good too, but it does protect the carseat cover from accidents and spills.
July 26, 2008 Does not work in an infant car seat. This product is a good idea but it does not in any way fit in an infant car seat. The back comes up way too high--it was above the shoulder straps. And look at the picture on the package-where ARE the shoulder straps?? Unless you have an older baby in a large car seat, this thing is just too big. With the 5-point harness, the sides of the pad get in the way and have to be folded over your baby's legs. I've had to wash my infant car seat carrier twice already so I would love seat liner that worked but this wasn't it. They should make it in different sizes.
May 29, 2008 Soaks it up when it is in place... Yes this does soak up any diaper leaks or potty training problems BUT the problem with this is that there is no way to secure it to the car seat. It moves around with your wiggling child and can be very hard to position once your child is sitting on top of it. Honestly, it drove us nuts trying to use it and finally we pitched it because it just took too much effort to keep it in the right spot to make if effective leak control.
April 24, 2008 piddle-pat review I haven't used the product myself, but I thought it would be a perfect product for my daughter. She has a 9 month, and three year old daughter, and it will help with accidents, and "blowouts" from the baby!
February 26, 2008 needs improvement May hold fluids, but it does not stay in place. Buy some good velcro to go with it...
November 25, 2007 Good It fits well in the car seat and does not move. There has not been any accidents, so not sure about the absorbtion part yet. A lot easier to use than towels or pee pads that move a lot.
October 10, 2007 This is great! This gives me peace of mind. It could be a tiny bit bigger but fits the seat. (I have a large Britax)
