recommended age group
I picked this product up yesterday at my local Babiesrus because it was the only bath ring they had available. I have to return it today without even opening the box. Why am I returning it... because the arm clamp is too short for my garden tub and also because it states it fits babies 5-10 months. My baby is currently 10 months. Why is this product only recommended up to 10 months when other bath rings are recommended to 16 months? I know this product says it's because after 10 months the baby may attempt to climb out, but come on... you're suppose to be supervising your kids when in the bath anyway.

Measure your tub!
Should be 3 stars, not 1! It won't let me fix it now that I've posted. :( I love the concept - the box just isn't clear enough.
I was so excited to try our new tub seat. My 7 month old loves to play in the water, but wants the independence of not having my hands on him constantly. However, the arm that attaches to the side of the tub was too short! When I read the fine print it told me that it's not compatible with tubs over 15.5" deep. We live in a new home, so just be sure to measure your tub before buying! Back to the store... :(

Pretty Nifty
I love this bath seat. Here are some reasons why:

- The padded arm that fits over the tub is WONDERFUL to rest your elbows on while bathing your child.
- It secures to the tub in two spots - the padded arm fits snugly over the side of the tub and the bottom of the seat suctions to the bottom. Seems very safe to me.
- The swivel feature is great, I can turn my son facing either direction in the tub.

Yes, you have to watch your child closely but that is true ALWAYS, with ANY bath seat or no bath seat. This is a very safe and convenient bath seat.

One slight issue is that it is pretty big with the arm and takes up quite a bit of storage space in your bathroom, or wherever you want to keep it.

I would recommend this to any of my friends or family.

Worked wonders!
I got this bath seat for my daughter when she was just starting to sit up. It was great because it has enough support that she could use it even when she was still a little wobbly. For a little while, I fit a towel around her so she didn't slide around. I liked the seat because it fit securely on my tub and didn't move anywhere. However, I could still swivel her around to wash her hair, etc. I don't know that I would pay $30 for it, but if you can find it on sale or used (as I did) it is a good seat.

not compatible with all tub sides
The seat is fine but the arm cannot be used on older bathtubs as it is too narrow.

LOVE IT, best seat out there don't belive the negative review.
Love this seat have been using it for a year now. One of the best produce we bought. Our daughter loves it and provided a safe way to spend lots of bath time with out the worry of her slipping in the tub. It also help keep her from wanting to stand in the tub. She feel safe in this seat. Make sure it does fit the side of you bath tub, if not get something else. Also as a cleaning note: turn the seat upside down to drain out the water. As long as it fit your tub it is the best purchase ever.

Amazing Product
This product is worth 10 times what I paid. My Baby is able to enjoy being in the tub instead of us always rushing things because we are uncomfortable holding her. It is secure and we feel safe using it. Great product.

Great Tubside Seat
The kid loves it... stays in place, but retains a lot of water when bath time is over. You will have to hold it up on its side to get all the water out.

Sits awkwardly at least for now
Turns out that my son is not quite big enough for this just yet. It also sits awkwardly in my tub. I admit that once I saw it wouldn't work for us just yet I didn't bother to tweak the setup. I have a friend that just loves it and uses it with her son, but he's much older.

I haven't given up on this and I'm sure we will use it as soon as he is big enough. This is just where I currently am when writing the review.

Makes bathtub transition easier, but Adult supervision essential
We've used this bath seat for our son for about 6 months now (age 6 mos - 12 mos). It's been a great help for getting him used to the bath and keeping him from sliding around. He can sit there & play with his toys and we can clean him without too much squirming. Do not mistake this for a safety device. While it does help them sit in the tub, you must always stay with the kid. I believe the seat is reaching the end of it's usefulness, but it has been a ton of help for the 6 month-12 month range.
