Ok toy
My son may have enjoyed this toy more if he were younger. He didn't get this toy until he was 12 months. I mistakenly thought this was the crab that you could press the color tabs and it would sing, but obviously, it was not and it was much smaller than I was anticipating. He still played with it some, but overall, just ok.

not so fun
I thought it would be cute but the crab's voice is shrill and it isn't very entertaining. My daughter wasn't impressed and neither was I.

Best for baby punishing
I love this rattle.
The very creepy design of the crab is great for frightening my baby when she acts up, also the words on the toy make for added confusion on account of the fact that my baby can't read.

Baby Curious Crab Rattle
This is a very cute rattle for babies over 6 months, as it is hard plastic on the red face portion. A young little baby toy it is not! When your child has more coordination with his hands and doesn't hit himself with the hard section, it is entertaining for them.

Sassy LeapFrog Crab Rattle
Lots of noise, shapes and textures to this toy. The three week old who is using it seems to already recognize and like it.

Nice Educational Crab Rattle
I bought this rattle a while back and found it is a neat little toy. It is a little large so it is probably best to wait till the child is near 6 months old or so, just so they don't bonk themselves in the head too much with it. But it is engaging and I love pointing out the colors and their names. It stays interesting to the child, despite being a simple toy and it is cute and fun.

LeapFrog, what do you think?!
I have a new nephew and do daycare. My nephew is almost a month old and we have him over a few days a week. He is not able to hold this rattle yet but when my children or I play with it with him he seems to love it. I have been using LeapFrog products for quite a few years and would, again, recommend another of their products.

Great little crab
The baby has loved this toy from the start - at 3 months she crinkled and chewed on the feet, at six months she took it everywhere and chewed on it some more, and now at 11 months she realized it is also a great musical toy and she shakes it like a maraca! also great for travel.

Somewhat dissapointed...
Although this toy is a great idea, it is much smaller than I thought it would be when I read the review. It is small and flat: great to stick in a purse or diaper bag for "emergency entertainment," however I'm not impressed with what the toy offers. My daughter loves toys that have the crinkle sound, but the color tabs with the crinkle inside on this toy are so small that it is hardly effective. The claw rattles are nice and visible, but the toy itself doesn't seem to be realistic for tiny hands to grab.
