Great Bather!!
For my sons first 6 months, I used one of those plastic baby tubs. Well as he got bigger, that just wasn't working out, so I bought this. VERY good purchase. I sooo wish I'd have bought it earlier, it would have made life MUCH easier!

Hands down, my favorite thing about this bather (the reason I bought it really) is it sits high enough that I can rinse ALL the soap off his body, he's not just sitting in a tub of soapy water. Also, it's very sturdy (I have a big boy, very long), and because it's a chair, it's much easier to get to his whole body. Now...I'm not sure I would have used this on a brand-spanking new baby, it seems a little too 'open' for me (the tub with the sling was good for a newborn), but I definitely recommend it for 'older' babies...starting about 2 months or so. You won't need it long though...only till baby's sitting up on his own. But it's a great price, and much less hassle!

great bather
Great size and comfortable for baby, but the seat is a little too high, even if you fill the tub up high.

Great Bather
I used this bather before baby's umbilical cord fell off, just to help hold the baby while sponge bathing him. He's now 2 weeks and we've used it in the tub with water twice now, and he seems to like sitting in the warm water. It's sturdy & baby doesn't slide around. Highly recommended!

Great For Baby!
This is great for babies and moms to feel more secure
at bath time. Really a nice product. Makes a great baby
shower gift.

Great infant bather!
We love this bather! My son HATED his first baths until we started using this after his cord fell off. Now bath time is comfortable, relaxing, and he loves lounging in the sling. I Love that it has an adjustable incline, he doesn't slip in it, it has head support for those first few months, and it folds up to be put away (a very good thing since we live in a small studio apartment.) It is also so easy to just fill up our tub and drain it when we are done. Someone mentioned that it can tip over backwards. This will only begin to happen if you start to place your child in the bather way up towards the top. Don't place your child's bottom up by the headrest and you'll be fine! I think this is a very secure and safe bather.

Great infant bather!
I am very happy with this product. I feel very safe when my infant son lies in it for bathtime and he seems very comfortable in it as well. I wish there was a strap to help keep him secured in it, but I still feel it was well worth the money spent.

Best bather I bought
I bought this for my second son. With my first I always used the plastic bath tub. I also bought a plastic one this time but absolutely hated it. He slipped all over the place so I had to hold him in place with on arm and do everything else with the other. I finally had enough and got a new one. This time I did my research and found this. It had amazing reviews, I just had to get it. I can put my baby in this and don't have to worry about him slipping around everywhere. Both my hands are free and it is a whole lot easier. I am also able to let my 2 year old and my 4 month old in the bath the same time using this bath seat.

Good seat, but has some flaws
I've been using this to bathe my son since his cord fell off. I like that this seat has two positions, so that I could recline him while he was very small. He's now 7 months and still using it. I use this in the tub, and bathe him while keeping him warm under a continuously running hand-held shower head on him (I just don't want him sitting in dirty bathwater). Thusly I don't have any experience with this seat floating or otherwise being dangerous to a baby. There are two issues, one minor and one significant, which are getting on my nerves and I've started shopping for another seat.
Minor issue: There are only seating positions: pretty reclined, and then slightly reclined. At 7 months, he really wants to sit up, and this seat doesn't make that easy.
Significant issue: I admit, I never read the documentation that comes with stuff i buy. That said, while there may be literature on this that came in the box, I have found that this seat cover needs to be removed from the frame 2-3 times per month and soaked in Oxyclean to remove a mildew smell from the fabric. A few times I could actually find specks of mold on it. It's nasty, and it can ultimately lead to allergies. All of this despite it's claim of being mildew resistant.

Having to soak it regularly is annoying, but it's never been worse than once a week, so I live with it. This seat did work really well for my purposes - I don't like him sitting in bath water anyway. But now that he really wants to sit up in the bath, I'm looking for a new one. I would recommend it, but I am disappointed it didn't last us a little longer.

Very useful and don't listen to the negative comments.
With my first son I used a reg baby bath tub. He fit in it for about 6 weeks. Then, with him in it, it only held about a cup of water. After that he went to the big tub with a spongy cushion. He didnt like laying in the water so finally, I put him in a bath tub ring which worked okay.

I said there has to be something better for my second son so I got this bath seat and loved it. I used it until he was able to sit by himself (about 6 months). He loved it too. I wanted to address some of the negative comments I have seen in other reviews. First, the bolt on the underside does rust but it is sturdier than plastic and really doesnt affect the performance of the seat (Your water has rust in it from the pipes anyway). Second, as long as you set it up securely, it will not fall down or fold up. Thirdly, I never had to put more than a few inches of water in my tub to have enough water to cover the babies legs and bottom. Also my baby never slid or slumped out of this seat.

I am expecting my third child and will definitely use this bath seat. In my opinion it is the best alternative on the market for bathing an infant.

I have loved it since day one!
I bought this for my son before he was born, and now almost 5 months later we still use it everyday. It's very soft mesh so he is comfy in it, and I love that it folds up for storage. Also you can change the positions with it, he can be sitting up or laying down, which is a big plus!
