just as described
I loved it when it arrived, but it just hasn't been used as much as I thought it would. It is really too big to go in the diaper bag, unless the diaper bag is really large and you pack it with everything except the kitchen sink.

A GREAT baby product; perfect for travel
A fantastic baby product: easy to use and easy to transport! We have been using this for our bub since he was six weeks old for multiple trips. It folds up small enough that it can fit in one of the compartments of my suitcase, and is really light, yet expands to a size that is plenty roomy enough for him now and will be for some time to come. While I imagine the Pogy wouldn't contain a mobile toddler or baby, for a little bub it is perfect for trips of any length - whether to someone's house for a dinner party or extended trips away. Very easy to fold up and store too.

Baby rolls right out of bed
We bought this for our 6 1/2 month infant to use inside our pop up camper. It was the only lightweight infant travel bed I found that appeared to work for infants that could already roll over. The instructions have a disclaimer about not putting the baby on a raised surface, but we thought it would work well on the floor. Unfortunately when he rolled, the sides bent down and he rolled right out. Also he learned to pull up during our vacation and the sides just collapsed when he pulled on them. As this bed did nothing to contain the baby, it was no better than laying him directly on a blanket on the floor. He ended up sleeping in our bed, since this was safer than him rolling around unattended at night. We did let him nap in it while we were watching him. Also, the mattress cover is not removable for washing. Next time we will bring just bring the Pack & Play.

Not for squirmy babies
The portable bassinet was great for a sudden trip to the grandparents, but my baby loves to move around. She would wake up and cry, because she couldn't move much. She's about a year old, but she's small for her age. It worked until we could get a pack & play. She was also able to roll out when she was trying to move a couple of times.

This would be great for young babies that aren't yet rolling.

Pogy Portable Bassinet
The bassinets are reasonably priced but this is definetly a case of you get what you pay for. They are fairly basic with cheap matresses. After placing my order, I found out that they do not meet British fire saftey standards and thefore not recomended for the use as travel cots in the uk.

Having twins I have purchased two bassinets,I have received no customer service at all trying to discuss the saftey issue with travelling with kids, where these items were purchased from via Amazon. In most cases, no response at all and Amazon have been no help either.

On receiving this order, I was also required to pay an additional £31, courier and customs charges. All in all, quite an expensive mistake on my part, especially as I cannot use them for the purpose that they are sold for. Wwith additional charges and shipping costs ( plus return ) I could of purchased a higher quality product, and will still do for the saftey of my children. I can however use them in the garden as recomended by travelling with kids, highly useful as you can imagine with 2 children under 6 months!

I am also hugely dissapointed with Travelling with kids and Amazon for not responding to any correspondance re reimbursment of additional costs for returning the products and would not be keen to use either again.

good on the go
The pogy is great to travel with. It is very basic, but light weight and user friendly. It fits my son quite well, but he is small for his age. It may be a tight squeeze for larger babies.

Worth every penny AND MORE!!
This portable bassinet has absolutely been the best "gadget" that we have bought for our little girl. The Pogy fits into a compact carrying bag that is smaller than our diaper bag but it pops open to a bassinet with more than enough room for our 5 month old. I figure it will fit her for at least 6 more months. I have told all my family that each of them will get one of these next time they have a baby shower. Everyone who sees it wants to know where to get one. We've taken it on cross country trips, trips to see the grandparent's, to church, to the park, and more. Its SO much more practical than our pack and play. In fact since we bought this, we have not even used the pack and play! If you are a parent who can't afford to always be home during nap time, then BUY THIS TODAY!
