User Submitted Baby Einstein - Baby Beethoven - Symphony of Fun Reviews August 25, 2008 Really inspiring...an excellent series of teaching tools! My child was a Baby Einstein fan. We started by introducing him to the Baby Beethoven DVD when he was only a few months old. In no time, he began to respond to the sights and sounds. Before long we had the whole Baby Einstein series. Children seem to grasp and understand (in their own unique way) by watching and interacting. Even now at almost seven years old, my son likes classical music and especially the featured tracks from the DVD. I think any program that seems to educate your children early on is great. This series worked well for us. Makes a great gift for parents to be. I highly recommend it.

August 24, 2008 Baby Einstein Symphony of Fun The Disk was used but was in good condition. The baby I purchased the DVD for is loving it.
July 26, 2008 GREAT DVD FOR THE LITTLE ONES! I didn't have much faith that these videos would actually capture the interest my four month old. I was SO wrong. It really grabs his attention and, I hate to say it, allows me at least 27 minutes to get myself ready for the day (or type this review!).
My only problem with the video is the advertising at the beginning (about 4 to 5 minutes worth). Advertisements should be left until the very end, NOT the beginning when you just want to pop it in and have your child sit to watch it. Not only are the advertisments LOOOONNNG, you CAN'T FAST FORWARD OR SKIP THEM!!! Disney was very selfish when they shoved their ads on us this way. The same holds true for every other Baby Einstein video I have. ANNOYING!
May 26, 2008 AWESOME DVD I got this DVD as a gift at one of my baby showers and my son watches it over and over and over again. He gets very excited: so he giggles and laughs! Its hysterical to watch my son. He tries to wiggle and dance with the music and sometimes he rolls around too! (8/9mo now)
February 25, 2008 Tis never too early! I love these products for babies -- the music is soothing, babies are soaking up culture and by the time they are 3 months old, they are also watching the videos on the TV that go with the music, thereby learning more! Terrific baby shower gifts, also!
December 1, 2007 Simplistic, good for entertaining child I am not an advocate of parking a child of any age in front of the television. However, there are just those times where nothing else is working and you have to get a shower, cook dinner, take a breather...you know the drill if you are a parent. This dvd is good for that purpose. It has lots of motion, colors and contrasts that attract the attention of an infant+. My 4 month old enjoys watching it, and already has his favorite portions. However, he bores quickly and I think has already figured out the sequence. The dvd is a series of simplistic puppets, colors, moving objects and pictures of children/babies put to classical music. It is designed to entertain a child, not educate them. Some of the review were disappointed in the lack of "educational" experience. No, this is not going to prepare your child to read at age 6 mos. It is going to encourage them to be a baby and be entranced by color and motion.
June 16, 2007 Great video! My son has the entire Baby Einstein collection and LOVES them. I highly recommend purchasing "Baby Mozart" and "Baby Beethoven" first. He started watching these at four months. Now, he is two and enjoys the more advanced ones much better, but this one was a life saver the first year. As far as the reviewer who said do yourself a favor and buy a camcorder . . . sure, these videos are simplistic and maybe that person could have made a better DVD in their basement, but they didn't, and the maker of Baby Einstein is a millionaire. They are not "horrible, horrible" videos. Many infants and young children LOVE them, and other "fancier" videos will bore them for the most part. My son was mesmerized, and that is all that counts! Socks for puppets and all! It is worth your money to try one, although I would try "Baby Mozart" first.
June 3, 2007 Baby Beethoven - Symphony of Fun, Just Great Baby Einstein is a wonderful line of videos to help aid in your child's development. Get them off to a very good start with these videos, and this special one, Baby Beethoven - Symphony of Fun. Get them well on the way to a successful future now! Don't wait!
February 28, 2007 save your money and make your own Why people like Baby Einstein dvds is beyond me. Do yourself a favor, buy a camcorder, a pair of socks for hand puppets and make your own. these were clearly made in someone's basement, horrible horrible dvds. We bought the set and only opened 3, now it just takes up space. there are much better dvds out there.
February 5, 2007 The best of the collection If your deciding on which Einstein Video to buy, this is the one. I have the whole collection, and this is the one my 4 month old son can watch over and over again. He will sit for over an hour watching this video in repeat play. The others only keep his interest for short periods of time. I even enjoy the music of Beethoven in the background. If you don't have any of the collection, definitely start with this one.
