Beautiful music and good animation.

Very entertaining for our baby!
It's a video that is very entertaining for our 3 months old, he gets relaxed when he watch it. We wish the DVD could be longer than 30 minutes, in general is a great product, highly recommend it.

best dvd out there...
we have a special needs child that was hospitalized as an infant. this dvd was the only thing that kept him calm, entranced - and still. it definately is worth the money!! he still watches it today at 2yrs old. i recommend this dvd to anyone with a baby!!

We've seen better!
This is fun, but if you want your toddler to really learn something about music, there is better out there. My daughter was hooked on Trebellina, which is designed for babies and taught her how to read written music. We searched high and low for good music products for our daughter and this is definitely the best. She was riveted by it as a toddler and by three years old she could read music and started taking lessons. Her teachers were amazed at what she knew. On that DVD the awesome characters sing the note, show the note and then the corresponding piano key. A young child can definitely get the idea of what a note is! IF you want your child to learn, get the read deal.

Classical Baby 2
I don't have any children and I absolutely LOVE Classical Baby 2. Although the music isn't as "classical" as the first, it's still great to listen to and the animation/artwork is brilliant!

A little disappointed
I had taped 2 of the original shows (on a VCR) directly from HBO awhile back. This DVD seems to combine elements of the original shows, and adds a couple of new "scenes." In that it was not complete, I was disappointed, although it is good for what it does.

Excellent
My son is 15 months and he loves it. The animation is fantastic and my son loves the music. It is a beautiful video. I have even gotten the other ones but the music show is wonderful. My son gets mesmerized and we watch it before he goes to bed and he drifts off peacefully right after....It's fantastic.

Enchanting Diversion
My 11 month old delights in this DVD. If we hum music from the DVD, especially the opening theme, she grins and bobs with recognition. While watching the DVD, she waves excitedly to her favorite characters. The last piece, Baby's Blanket, aka Claire de Lune, makes her sleepy (if needed, we replay that track a couple of times).

Frankly, I shield her from most television and movies, but this DVD is so enchanting that I play it as a treat and diversion when she is fussy - particularly when she is seemingly inconsolable from teething or ear ache pain. She takes great pleasure in it, and to my surprise, I also enjoy it, despite repeat viewing.
