good
the video was very helpful especially the poodle cut, i did learn alot, they could have shortened the bathing part and showed a little more grooming, over all very good, the only thing that could have been better is to be able to review different segments, instead of having to watch the whole thing over.

Ahorre dinero!
Compre este DVD para ahorrar dinero. Llevar a mi Yorkie al grooming cuesta alrededor de $50.00.
He ahorrado dinero desde que compre este DVD. Es sencillo, facil de seguir las instrucciones, aunque usted no sepa ingles.
Lo recomiendo.

Great video!
The information is great. I copied the DVD to a VCR tape so I could fast forward and rewind to the section I needed most. You can't do that on the DVD.

I found this video to be very helpful in grooming my 4 dogs. I watched it before I did my first groomed and it was extremely helpful!

Doggie Cuts
Received this grooming instructions CD in a reasonable amount of time after ordering. The CD was very informative and helpful as far as showing grooming methods and techniques for the various breeds of dogs - until I got to the last chapter, which was "unreadable." Of course, this chapter was on the breed and grooming technique I was most interested in viewing. I returned it to Amazon and they promptly sent me a replacement.

Great learning tool for a Newbie
After paying to have my Yorkie groomed I decided to purchase this item. I am Not sorry I did. When my Yorkie was a baby she never minded being bathed or groomed but I found she hated anything to do with her bath time after going to a so called groomer. Now she is re-learning how great bathing, grooming and a message can feel again.
The infomation you need is great along with many suggestions to help you bathe and groom. I also found that after reading many grooming books on the breed, you learn quicker visually with this DVD. This DVD is great! and you can have it playing while you learn to groom. I Love this product! I now am grooming my Yorkie, Paige and am receiving many compliments when we go out. (Some have even asked me to groom their dogs too) I have made a 'few' errors but the nice part is, their hair will grow back ...lol I would recommend this to anyone who wants a real bonding time with their pet...while saving money at the same time. I don't think you will be sorry if you purchase this product. I also found that while grooming Paige I can also get a good look at her skin etc. as I am always checking to make sure she is in good health.

Doggie Cuts
Doggie Cuts was definitely worth buying because I am trying to groom both a Yorkie and a Mini Snauser at home, and both are demonstrated on the DVD. First I made some notes, but then I went and watched it again and a third time (so far). Each time I pick up a tip that I didn't know about before. I screwed up one part of the Yorkie's cut, and can't wait for the hair to grow back out for me to try again. Otherwise, I did good. This isn't a good book for a professional doing show dogs, but it is a great book for someone trying to do a good job at home.

Not as easy as it looks
Hello, I don't have much to say, but I think it would be nice if we could get a Shih Tzu in the picture or something.
Anyway, my pesos could have been better spent on buying a decent doggie clipper which by the way cost well over $1XX.xx.
If you have never cut dog hair (not fur) then you will probably not see much benefit from this DVD.

Not as good as I thought it would be
I was rather disappointed w/this DVD.
If you are a first time dog owner--the bathing and health tips would be helpful. I found parts of the grooming to be helpful and some things not as inclusive as I had hoped for. Also for someone who has never used clippers before I think it would have been helpful to go thru some clipper basics.
My main complaint is the format of the DVD. There is no way to go back and review selected material--you just have to fast forward from the beginning and try to get to where you want to go. It was such an aggravation.
I think I'd keep looking for a better DVD if I had it to do over.

This dog grooming DVD is a great investment for the novice
This DVD is amazing as it opens a whole new door to the home dog grooming experience. Haircutting techniques are shown that can be used to groom most any kind of dog, and the step by step visual instruction is complete and easy to follow. It's simply all there for a complete dog grooming and much more--nothing was left out. It is a wonderful value!
