A Show for all ages
I loved this show as a child. It brought back soo many memories of Saturday mornings. And it can be watched even today with your kids or alone. And the Extras and interviews are great. Sid and Marty Croft are Geniuses.

Pufinstuf's got the Stuff
I loved these episodes when I was a kid. It was a much different time then, but the comedy is timeless. Witchiepoo, Billy Hayes is just the best. I bought the set to take a stroll down memory lane, and my family was teasing me about all the controversy about drugs and that it was just a dumb old Saturday morning kids show back in the 70's. But after only one episode, they were hooked and wanted to watch the entire series. So now I think I'll get the Banana Splits set and really blow their minds. If they thought Pufinstuf was promoting drugs, wait till they get a load of this Hanna-Barbera acid trip.

Pufnstuf
In one word: charming. Not only the time travel to our own childhood but the meaning of the plot itself that fits children of all times. Highly recommendable to all the families.

Silly Stories and Smiles
I was glad to find that H.R. Pufnstuf was released to DVD, and bought it for myself and to share with my 6 year old daughter. There are no heavy messages and few attempts to educate a child (other than the time-tested message that Good outtrumps Evil). Instead, it's just fun stories, silly songs, Billy Wild's wonderful accent, and a good time for every member of the family. Billie Hayes does a delightful Witchie-Poo, and the cast of puppets and other creatures are a lot of fun.

Aa childhood favorite
Pufnstuf was a beloved show from my childhood and I was glad to find it available on DVD to bring to my grandson. The quality of the DVD brings it all back to life and my grandson is enchanted with it also.

disc problem
I loved this classic but have had serious problems with disc 1. I see two people commented on this but no one else? I bought two different sets, from different vendors and the same identical disc 1 issues are there. Does anyone have any advise? Did Rhino offer fixed disc?

You have to be atleast 40 years of age are older to understant this series. But it is wonderful
