A stunning sci-fi epic that re-envisions the future of mankind, this top-rated, action-packed original series is "intriguing" (Associated Press), "fascinating" (Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel) and "deep and intense" (Science Fiction Weekly)! Luke Perry ("Beverly Hills 90210," "Oz") stars as Jeremiah, one of the many young survivors of the "Big Death" that claimed the lives of every adult in the world 15 years ago. Now forging his way through a bleak wilderness fraught with danger and conspiracy, Jeremiah and his most trusted friend, Kurdy (Malcolm-Jamal Warner), are plunged into thrilling adventures that test every facet of their humanity…and ultimately the fate of the human race itself!
User Submitted Jeremiah - The Complete First Season Reviews October 24, 2008 Far too short a series run. A very interesting post-apocalyptic (but not depressing) series from the man that brought you "Babylon 5". This box set is season one of the two season series. Each season has stand-alone stories and a season length storyline with a good wrap up at the end of the season. In other words, there is no cross-season cliff hanger. Each season is a stand alone storyline. Well written, well acted, and with interesting characters. Two-thumbs up.
October 7, 2008 Among the best DVDs I've ever watched Excellent. If you liked the CBS show Jericho, you'll like this one just as much, and the acting is better.
September 23, 2008 Jeremiah, season 1 Absolutely outstanding show! Waiting impatiently for the release of season 2 in a box. Can rent from NetFlix, but really want to own the box set. I'm really bummed that the show folded after 2 seasons though. Wish they'd bring it back.
August 27, 2008 another great show canceled i have been watching this series on the sci-fi channel and i can't believe that i never heard of it . it's one of the best shows on sci-fi it goes to show you that you don't need huge fx when you have a great story i am not usually a big fan of luke perry but he does a great job along with malcholm jamal warner this series is a lot like the series jericho a lot of great acting \ good story line \ well filmed but like jericho it too was canceled after only two season this series is well worth the money great entertainment Brian
July 3, 2008 Where is Season TWO??? Dammit! I am really tired of seeing all the crap shows come out on DVD and then Blue Ray? When is this great show going to be given some respect? Give us season TWO NOW!
June 4, 2008 OK, but not Jeremiah As a SF series by itself, it is OK. But it has little to do with the Jeremiah of the SF-comic it is based on. Pity that writers have not enough fantasy to come up with other names and have to rely on a good, if not great SF title.
But as said, it is OK and not a mis-buy.
May 31, 2008 Jeremiah .. Love It I really liked this series. I just wish it would have ran longer than 2 seasons. I'm very happy Amazon/Pepsi made these episodes available to buy using PepsiStuff points. It has been a long wait to get both seasons .. but well worth it. Some episodes are MUCH better that others but I would definitely pay to see a movie of this if they ever filmed one.
May 28, 2008 Typical - Cancel the GREAT shows! I love this show. I can't believe that it was cancelled after 2 seasons yet other absolute Trash stays on the air.
I'm a huge Stargate SG1 fan, not so much Atlantis although it has been getting better. I love Firefly/Serenity. If you like those shows, you should enjoy Jeremiah. The premise is interesting and Season 2 uncovers more unexpected twists. The acting is excellent. I particularly love Jamal-Warner. He adds the perfect touch to the show. All in all, a well rounded show with some suprising elements that keep it interesting. I still think it had a lot more mileage to go at the end of Season 2. Oh well - maybe it will come back.
April 18, 2008 LOVE IT - DESPERATELY SEEKING SEASON 2 I had never heard of this and looked at it many times before finally buying it. I got hooked immediately andI am so sorry to have watched it all so quickly thinking I could get the next season. Now I am so sad to be stuck with no Jeremiah. It's a great show, great characters and story and I want more!!!!!!!!!!11111111
January 18, 2008 Slow time Jeremiah is a caracter of belgian creators with a lot of limitations. In television we hear a lot of talk, a lot of lost philosophy, but little action and an indecision that tend to be mathemathicaly sytematic (like a desease) in the protagonist. Well, with basis on comics full of action we face pictures full of talk, cheap talk, probably for certain kind of people that without reading any book of Nietsch, Sartre, Kirkgaard or Plato, they fill full with this pansophy. An alternative series could be imagined and realized in a best way. This is what I think here in the city of Lisbon, in Europe.
