User Submitted Peter Pan (2-Disc Platinum Edition) Reviews September 27, 2008 RED HAIR FOR ALL ? I love this film, always have, always will. HOWEVER the color restoration turned practically every characters' hair red. Wendy and John certainly never had red hair before. Although the original color is dated, it is much more beautiful.
September 14, 2008 Peter Pan DVD The DVD came the next day after I ordered it. I was pleasantly surprised and watched the DVD that evening. It was a great purchase.
August 18, 2008 Almost perfect. Peter Pan is a very clever and well-thought out Disney film. I have always enjoyed this film but parts are a bit slow so I can't give this classic a perfect rating. Peter Pan and Tinkerbell are pure magic, love his childlike spunk and her stubborn atttitude! Great family flick, enjoy.
May 30, 2008 Too Much Advertising! The Peter Pan cartoon is a classic, but the problem with this DVD is that Disney put about two hours of previews on this DVD set that you are forced to sit through before the actual movie comes on. You can try to forward through these previews, but it still takes quite awhile to click through them all. It's too bad that advertising is Disney's first priority.
April 21, 2008 Peter Pan- Platinum Edition A classic in every sense of the word. My kids both love it, and watch it at least twice a week. I love how well they did cleaning the film up and making it like new again. A must have for any Disney video collection.
April 5, 2008 Even more magical than ever Definately worth the price. one of Disney's best movies, but the lack of musical scenes hurts the almost perfect picture.
April 5, 2008 Excelente! Divertida! Es una pelicula muy divertida e interesante, la recomiendo. Si deseas pasar un momento divertido junto a tus hijos esta es una pelicula ideal.
April 3, 2008 Watch Out for this one. I love Peter and pirates and Mermaids--but this was made in 1951--so Watch Out. I didn't like my 3 yr old hearing things like "girls talk too much" and indians called "redskins" and the WORST was Tinkerbell wondering if her [...] was too fat!! If you are careful about what your littles ones watch, skip this one for now.
March 25, 2008 Nicely Re-mastered I didn't really think the quality could be improved on an older film like this, but this dvd is amazing. Its like a brand new movie. Crisp picture and beautiful sound.
February 14, 2008 Another classic RE-LIVED! Peter Pan is a very fun movie. Very childish happenings. Tinkerbell is a classic assistant actress and is very selfish, mean-spirited and in love with Peter Pan. So when another tries to get close (namely girls like Wendy) she will not take to this lightly! Just watch and see!
It's a story that's been told a thousand times but if you're a Disney fan, this HAS to be relived!!
Peter Pan comes to John and Michael's nursery once in a while just to see how things are. He inspires the children to play and imitate Peter Pan and the Captain Hook, and Wendy, to keep the stories alive.
Neverland is any 6 or 7 year old kid's fantasy world, but ANYONE can relive the glory that is Peter Pan.
I don't wanna spend the whole night writing this review but I will just say that it holds brilliance; magic and such and should not be ignored! Get your copy tonight and make the children in your life smile over and over!
