Materpiece again!

I know that this sound redundant, but there is no mistake! The complete series is excellent and there are some chapters that are really impresive. (Do not miss the opportunity of see the Scotland again!) and a real hand-to-hand fight against Aku and Jack.

You have to see it, you must have it!

Excellent series
This is an excellent series. It's unfortunate that it was not continued as a on-going show on Cartoon Network. My 10 y.0. son enjoys this series. He has all 4 volumes.

There is no cartoon like Samurai Jack!
I have all four seasons of Samurai Jack and I am LOVING IT!!! This is an all around great cartoon for adults as well as kids. The story line is great as well as the graphics. It's an old fashion battle between good and evil with a futuristic twist. Every season gets better and better. I sure hope they keep on making these cartoons.

A great final season to a great show
Samurai Jack has always been a favorite of mine, and I can say, having watched all four seasons now, that season four was the best of them. It was at this point in Jack's run on TV that the artwork reached its best and all the episodes were great. Some particular episodes to watch are the fight between Jack and the Dark ninja, the entire "The Scotsman Saves Jack" episodes, the Noir-style episode of Jack vs. the last and best of Aku's robot assassins, and the final episode where Jack finds himself taking care of a baby while on his journeys (BTW, Jack would make a great father). It's such a shame that Tartakovsky and the gang haven't gotten back together yet to finish the story with Jack returning to the past (or not?) and defeating Aku. I'll just have to hold out hope for that one last go, even if Mako is no longer with us to voice Aku (you'll be missed).

Samurai Jack Season 4: Another SJ Season.
This season is really good. It wasn't as good as SJ Season 3, but still a-lot more entertaining than most cartoons out these days. Everything is about the same as the previous seasons, but it has some really good episodes , like "The Aku Infection," "Scotsman Saves Jack, Part 1& 2," "Jack versus Aku," and "The Four Seasons of Death" This is the final season of SJ, and it's really good. I love how they have the stand out episodes in each season, such as this one it is "The Four Seasons of Death" More cinema sequences, and more detailed in art and the way it looks. This is really a great show, and I wish their was more shows that were this creative and awesome to watch. If you liked this I recommend checking out the "Star Wars: Clone Wars" mini-series that was on CN, It was done by the same person who made this (Genndy Tartakovsky, or however you spell it ha) Especially if you're a SW Fan.

Anyways, I'm glad I spent the money on all four seasons of SJ, definitely one of the best animations in a LONG TIME! 5/5 Stars.

Great series
Samurai Jack season 4 is very good entertainment and fun to watch for all ages. Lots of action, background seens, and detailed sounds of the envirement, make this series very enjoyable. I recommend the other series as well( Seasons 1, 2, and 3).

An animation must-have
If you have seasons 1-3 and are reading this to see if you should get Season 4, then without any doubt spring for this set. If you don't have Seasons 1-3, maybe you want to watch the series in order. The series got better with each season, so there would be no harm watching the show beginning here, if you so wished. Do not expect any final episode on this disc. There isn't one (yet). At this stage in the series there was much more reliance on action and visuals than on trivialities such as plot and dialog. I kid you not. The voice-over sessions for many episodes were probably over with in 5 minutes, and the series is none the worse for it. The characters who are fleshed out through dialog (such as the Scotsman or Da Samurai) are wonderfully over-the-top.
I'm not sure when a child is too young to watch this. Only robots get hacked up, but the cartoon can get spooky, and I guess violent too. And Aku is pretty mean throughout.

Essential for the completist
There are strong points all the way through the Samurai Jack series, and the final light-and-dark sequence in "Jack vs. the Ninja" is worth the price of this set on its own.

If I had any criticism, it would be the last of closure in the final episodes, but maybe one of these days we'll get that Samurai Jack movie that Tartakovsky has been talking about for so long.

For the love of Jack
One of the best animated series in years. This Samurai had the right mix of drama and action. Good verse evil wrapped up in fun art and animation. It should have had at least one more season but as we know the good die young. Still great show along that dexter's lab kinda show.

Hope You Get Home Somehow, Samurai Jack
We watched Samurai Jack as a family and loved it. We'd come to the tv when the new episode was coming on - we couldn't wait to see it. I think my husband and I loved the artwork the most in this show - we'd be so amazed at how beautiful the art and colors were. We had great fun watching Samurai Jack together.

Season 4, the last Season - we tried to catch all the episodes on tv and were very sad that the very last episode did not allow us to see Jack getting home. The series didn't seem to have a polish to it near the end. We were really very disappointed that we were just left hanging at the end, that episode being like any other episode in the series, in where you're still hoping for him to get home and you have no satisfaction of finality either.

Regardless of this disappointing detail, this series, the show, the story, the writers, the illustrators, and the creator gets 5 stars from us! We're very happy to own the entire series. Thank you for putting it out on DVD for us.

Side note: We loved Mako's voice as Aku, and when we started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender, we realized right away that Uncle Iroh and Aku's voice were the same. Through this we learned a little about Mako and his life, and truly enjoyed his voice-acting work in these two of our favorite animated series.
