Make no bones about it -- Disney's SNOW DOGS is a hilarious action-packed comedy your whole family will love. Eight adorable but mischievous dogs get the best of dog hater Ted Brooks (Cuba Gooding Jr.) when he leaves his successful Miami Beach dental practice for the wilds of Alaska to claim his inheritance -- seven Siberian huskies and a border collie -- and discover his roots. As Ted's life goes to the dogs, he rises to the occasion and vows to learn to mush with his inheritance. Totally out of his element, he faces challenges he's never dreamed of. There's a blizzard, thin ice, an intimidating crusty old mountain man named Thunder Jack (James Coburn), the Arctic Challenge Sled Dog Race that's only two weeks away, and a life-and-death rescue. Excellent movie
I purchased Snow Dogs on DVD cause I use to have it on VHS. The VHS started skipping after a long period of time from watching it. I loved the movie for I like movies that are funny, and also has dogs in it.

Good Snow Dog
This is a good entertaining movie suitable for the whole family. It is funny, light-hearted and has just enough romance for the female viewers and not too much to totally bore the fathers. I bought it because I know the head dog Damien but would recommend the movie to all families.

good movie
cuba gooding jr. gives an excellent performance in this heartwarming story about a man and his sled dogs. this is a good movie. i recommend this movie for everyone

Cool Movie but...
Having already seen Snow Dogs, I was very pleased to find it on a dvd because it's a very enjoyable movie with beautiful scenery and original and fun filled story! The dogs are amazing!
But I was sorry not to find the blu-ray version, and also this version is not 16/19 but the edges have been cut off to make it play full screen on an old 4/3 television: this is a pity because quite a bit of scenery is missing which spoils the general effect!

Snow Dogs
When Miami dentist Ted Brooks learns that his birth mother has passed away and that he was named in her will, he travels to Alaska to claim his inheritance. Rather than the large chunk of change that many people would expect, Ted instead receives his mother's pack of rowdy sled dogs and her property. Although the dogs seemingly have it in for Ted, he decides to keep the dogs and race them in the local race, the Arctic Challenge, spiting a mountain man who wants the dogs. What follows is a comedy detailing Ted's adventures in learning to run the sled dogs. This is a fun family type movie. The dogs pretty much steal the show, with their sometimes human like facial expressions and obvious smarts. I think everyone will enjoy it.
