Star Wars fans, prepare for battle! Hasbro is giving Star Wars fans a revolutionary way to experience the thrills and excitement of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith with ATTACKTIX, an innovative new game with one objective: be the last one standing! ATTACKTIX combines the crash-and-bash fun of action figures with the competition, strategy and collectibility of trading card games. ATTACKTIX is easy to learn, but difficult to master. Kids plan their strategy, build their squad of figures, plot their moves and attack with one simple goal: to outlast their opponent. Players move into battle by counting the "tix" each figure makes as it is moved, using real Star Wars attack moves - launching missiles, lightsaber slashes and more - to knock down their opponent's troops. The last one standing wins! With no game board or dice, ATTACKTIX can be played anywhere, anytime. Each of the 35 collectible figures stands on a patented game base that features all of the game play information needed as well as revealing secret powers. The innovative movement system enables kids to move their figures in numerous combinations, providing for enhanced strategy and a new game each time they play. Also, multiple levels of strategy are built in to vary game play even further. ATTACKTIX can be purchased as a Starter Set, which includes: five figures, one of which will be a hidden as a surprise; a CD-ROM with game demo and strategies; and a quick-start guide that gets participants playing fast. Additional figures will be sold separately in Booster Packs containing three hidden battle figures - one common, one rare, and one super rare. And the BATTLE MASTERS game pieces bring more power and action to your battles with bigger attacks, more power, and stronger defenses, making them more difficult to defeat.
