What a losey weekend..............

Well the weekend started okay, got something bought for Kaitlin's birthday party, and almost done wrapping the christmas gifts and kinda orginised to take with us on the different days. Well sunday morning my mom called to let me know we could not have christmas there at there house what I was so looking foward to that its been years since we were all there, well the reason is they had a fire. There sump pump shorted and caught fire and reaked havic in the laundry room, but thankfully it melted the line to the water softner and the water from that managed to put the fire out. So while they have water, and smoke damage they really got luck that they did not lose the house or more than the laundry room and a little of the kitchen. So now we have to find a plce to have christmas. I initally thought our home would be the next best option, since we have more room than the other sisters, but then I know one sister would not come due to her supposed allergies to my cats (um hello my other sister and her oldest son are allergic but they take meds when they come over, so for her just one more excuse....very rude in my opinion). But at this point no real plans have been made as to where or when.

On with the day well now that DH and I are awake and it sounds like Kaitlin is waking up he said want to go to breakfast...sure that sounds good well we never made it, he started having horrible chest pains, he was thinking it was just gas at frist but it did not get better so off ot the ER we went, that was about 10a well I must admit you tell them you are having chest pains they get you in right away, oh I must also tell you while up the christmas lights outside he fell off the latter, however he did not tell me this until we went to bed and told me his back was hurting, anyway they drew blood, took x rays, head ct, mri, iv, and a few others. So then we wait and wait, did finally get some info from the nurse around 1p that xray, head ct, and heart looks ok but some of his blood work was abnormal, humm so what does that mean well she could not say but she would get the doc in to talk to him, she did ask if he ever had pancretitus before and yes he did over 5 years ago when his gull blatter was removed. So wait we did somemore. Finally about 2:30p the do came in and talked to us, they were a little puzzled cause everything looked fine expcept this one part of his blood work that tells them about the pancreus was a little high but not enoght to warrent a hospital say. So in short he has panretitus and thats what the pain is, so I wondered what this means or what they do about it, well nothing really except pain managent if it get to bad and then they will have a gastro spec. start to look for the cause or the trigger wich could be anything...........grrr not much help there. So finally after waiting yet some more we page them to find out how much longer till we go home. Finally got him home at 4:30p. Then off to fill his meds and pick up Kaitlin, which thankfully my sister came and got her so she did not have to spen a day in the hospital around all the sick people!

So last night was not good he was having alot of pain but the pain med was helping a bit, so we both were up alot last night. So he packed his laptop bag and is going to download movies just incase he needs to go back, I hope he does not.

So in all that I told my sister lets have it at your place cause I dunno whats going to happen with DH and I dont want to back out at the last minute.

I am so tired and worried what this week will be like we have christmas and her birthday and DH is so scared worried and upset that he might miss her first christmas and birthday.

Wheeewww I am wiped out. I hope all this made secnce, and lets all hope he does better and does not have to go back to the hosptial.

So if you dont see me around much at least you have some clue why.

jen replied: I'm so sorry, that is awful. Best wishes to DH, I hope he gets better and doesn't have to go back to the hospital. Sorry about your sister.............that isn't too nice . I said a little prayer for you, kaitlin and DH. I hope you end up having a Merry Christmas with all of your family and Kaitlin has a wonderful Birthday . Just take it in stride, one day or one hour at a time!

I am sending you some good luck for Christmas and Kaitlin's party! By the way, did you end up having to post-pone Santa coming for a visit? If not, how did that go?

Well he seems okay now...no pain last night hopefully no more and this week will go smothly.

Sorry Santa couldn't come for a personal visit this year, but the important thing is that your family is safe. Glad to hear Dave is feeling better. Looks like your week is getting better already... just in time for Christmas!
