What is it about the Beatles?
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: They are timeless. I love the Beatles. A friend of mine gave me a copy of a new release called The Beatles "Love". It's a blending of a whole bunch of Beatles songs. The album has to be listened to from beginning to end because if you shuffle it you miss things. There are parts of the songs where you can hear 2 and sometimes even 3 melodies at the same time. It's so much fun to try to pick it apart.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Cool! I love the Beatles.
I'll have to buy this album for my parents and burn me a copy.
Calimama replied: I can't stand them! My mom used to play them on road trips and I got sooo sick of hearing them.
stella6979 replied: I love, love, love the Beatles. I'll have to check that album out.

A&A'smommy replied: I love the beatles, but I love a LOT of bands from that era!!!
HuskerMom replied: I love a lot of bands from that era too. I think I just heard the Beatles too much and got sick of them I grew up listening to oldies cuz that's always what my parents listened to. I still listen to oldies all the time
Crystalina replied: The Beatles are the best. And you're right, they are timeless.
msoulz replied: When I was a kid/teenager I absolutely could not stand to listen to the Beatles. Now I don't mind them. Perhaps my hearing is going as I get old?? I am pretty sure my taste isn't improving!!
redchief replied: I grew up with the Beetles, which means I'm from their era. Anyhow, they are timeless and their music will outlive all of them, and me.
CantWait replied: Ditto here.
My mom use to listen to a lot of oldies and country and I couldn't stand it then, however I do stand the odd country song now and I love oldies. I like all sorts of music though from every background. Beetles included.
gr33n3y3z replied: I liked only a few songs they made I was never into the beatles,or a dead head either
Brias3 replied: My husband is a die hard Beatles fan- has been since he was around five. His dad (and whole family really) are big into music and so he's grown up with that influence.
We've actually been to Vegas to see the Beatles "Love" show- it is FABULOUS! The CD is great too.
If you need any Beatles materials for the kiddos, a staple in our house when they were young was the "Bedtime with the Beatles" album. It is a CD full of slow-paced, quiet music (no lyrics) from about 14 Beatles songs- its really cute
