  • Features a Let-Down Massage Cushion for a fast, natural let-down
  • Combines massage with a gentle vacuum, while all other pumps rely solely on suction

  • Soft massagers flex with each compression to gently massage the area behind the nipple for a natural let down
You can prepare for a successful breastfeeding experience with the Avent ISIS Breast Pump. ISIS is a manual pump clinically proven to be as effective as electric pumps, yet mothers rated the Avent ISIS easier and more convenient to use. ISIS is designed to work naturally, and is ideal for new mothers who are learning to breastfeed. ISIS is the only breast pump that has a patented Let-down Massage Cushion to stimulate the same gentle let-down as breastfeeding. This allows you to express milk more quickly, with no discomfort, even in the early stages of breastfeeding. Avent ISIS Breast Pump is the only pump that doesn't rely on suction alone to be effective. Instead, ISIS uses a gentle massage and vacuum system that works quickly and efficiently.

love it
I bought this pump just to get me through a work day when the double electric that I ordered hadnt come in yet. All I have to say is wow!!! I get just as milk as I did with the medela hospital grade in a shorter amount of time.I dont know how it does it but the milk just flows and I had a low supply to start with and I believe that this pump has helped me build it back up.Now that my electric has come in I still prefer this pump. I would recomend this pump to anyone....This coming from a mother who has tried 5 different pumps, electric manual and hospital grade.

avent pump
Product performs as expected and this is the same product we used for our first child. After factoring in shipping, it cost as much as at the local store, but came to our door instead.

Wonderful and efficient pump!
I've been using this pump to pump 1-2 bottle every day for the last 4 months. I go back to work soon, and I started getting worried I would do better with an electric pump. I went to a lactation and pump specialist. After trying 3 electric pumps (Medela & Ameda), she recommended I get a second ISIS pump. She doesn't think the electric pumps would be any faster or easier for me. It will save me over $200, too! I love this pump and have found it to be really efficient (5 oz in about 25 minutes usually). I am looking forward to getting my second one and seeing how I do pumping both breast at the same time!

Fantastic pump
I bought this pump after struggling with the Gerber manual pump for 5 weeks. Withing 5 minutes of using this pump, I had as much milk as I had accumulated in the whole 5 weeks of using the other pump. The Avent pump is easy to use, comfortable, and easy to clean. Oh yeah, and it works! I highly recommend this pump!

Pumps as much milk as hospital-grade pump
I used this pump with my second child and really wish I had with my first. The first time I tried it I was amazed how much milk I could pump in a short amount of time. I also used a rental pump to pump both breats at the same time and could easily get the same amount of milk. Also, when I had Mastitis, the Isis helped empty the breast completely and relieve some of the pain. The soft petals are SO comfortable and really reach all the ducts to maximize production. I used the Medela pump with my daughter and had many problems, wish I'd had this the first time around! Great product for a challenging time.

Absolutely perfect for me
Once I learned how to use this breast pump (learning the suction technique of it) I absolutely love it. I am a stay at home mom but wanted something affordable, easy to use, and easy to tote to pump milk to have for outings and so that my husband would be able to feed our daughter too. Once let down occurs, I have easily gotten 4 ounces in a matter of 10 minutes or even less. I would recommend this pump to anyone who wants to save money but would like to find a pump that they can depend on. I was unsure of purchasing a pump before we had our daughter because they tend to be expensive and some do not work for everyone. After reading the reviews on the isis I found that it probably is the best on the market. I would'nt trade it for an electric pump as I have also read that others felt the same way. It is also great to know that all avent bottles easily screw on to the pump. So as you need to use bigger bottles it is just a matter or purchasing them and hooking them up. The avent isis pump is easy to clean, easy to take apart, and put back together. I hope that whoever purchases this is as happy as I have been.

Great bargain
The mom who pumps only once or twice a day can't do better. It took a little practice, but I soon was able to pump about 6 oz. in fifteen minutes. Why spend $300? I sure don't have that kind of money lying around!

Efficient, inexpensive, and portable
I have used this pump through all 3 of my children (I bought it in 1999), I can definitely say I've gotten my money's worth! I have nursed a total of 6 years, and this little pump has held up so well - I've not had a single problem with it.

The pump is small, very portable (compared with electric counterparts), and 20% of the price of the popular double electric models.

Your milk pumps directly into an Avent bottle, in which you can then store the milk or feed immediately.

There are some small pieces that need to be washed after each use - this can be difficult when on the road - this was really the only thing I considered less than ideal about the pump (although I'm not sure there's any avoiding that).

Every woman's body is different, so I cannot claim that this pump will work for everyone as well as it has for me. I didn't plan to use it as much as I did when I bought it (I didn't return to work full time, so I didn't think I'd need a double electric pump), however I ended up donating milk to a local milk bank after my first child was born. With this pump only, I pumped 12 oz every morning for my oldest child's first year. This took me about 15 minutes each morning.

For me, this pump has been economical, efficient, portable, and easy to use. It's obviously a personal thing - a pump can work great for one woman and poorly for another, but I have been extremely happy with this one.

Best hand pump on the market!
I purchased this hand pump when my 5 year old was born and used it to pump at home while I nursed him exclusively for a year (I used an electric pump when I was working). The pump is comfortable on your skin, and is easy to use with one hand and the suction matches that of an electric pump without all of the noise. It's awesome. I saved it and I'm now using it with my two month old. I highly recommend it!
