Awesome Baby Carrier
The BabyBjorn is a great baby carrier. While it's not switchable to wear on the back that simplicity actually makes me like the product more. My wife and I tried a carrier that could be worn on the front or back but there were so many straps it's hard to get into and out of and get your child into. The Baby Bjorn is very simple and secure and my daughter loves riding in it. I've taken to carrying her around the house in it just to do everyday things because she loves riding in it so much and it keeps her calm and happy to be held. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a carrier.

Not for XL parent
I am 5"9 (182 cm) and 220 lbs (100 kg) and this carrier is way to small for me, it fits my petite wife very well but with my build junior has it's face wright in my face ;)

Happy With This
I was having a hard time when my daughter went through a stage of wanting to be held constantly. It was hard to get anything done so I bought the Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier. It was delivered quickly and saved me. My daughter was happy because she was being held and I was able to get things done around the house. Also it's great for when they are young and you need to go to the store. It's hard to put the car seat in the shopping cart and if you have to get more than a couple of things the stroller can't help you out. This way the baby is taken care of and the only thing you have to push is the cart. I would recommend this product.

So far so good
Me and my wife have a 3 month old that has to be held. We have enjoyed having this product and put it to good use. So far we haven't had any problems with the design but like I said our child is only 3 months and doesn't weigh much. It will be interesting to see if it will still be as useful in the months to come. So far we are satisfied with the product and plan on continuing to use it.

On a wish list
My daughter, who is pregnant for number three, put this on her wish list at Amazon. I live in the States and she lives in Germany. I was able to buy it and ship it directly to Germany. When she received it she was MORE than happy. It's such a great carrier. Everyone was happy! Thanks Amazon for providing this service.

great until about 14ish pounds!
This carrier is truly a life saver! It is easy to use, comfortable, quite handy. Until your child hits about 14 pounds!! I have tried adjusting the straps a number of ways, it just doesn't fit comfortably anymore. For me, it causes mild shoulder pain and difficulty breathing. It makes me feel like I'm pregnant again!! However, I must say that until about a month ago, this product was so handy, and an absolute necessity. My baby just outgrew it quicker than I expected she would.

Must have !!
I had always looked at people using those and thought it's a nice product.
Now I say it's a must have. it's comfortable and stands to the quality it mentions in the specifications.
and in time delivery ( that too with amazon free shipping ) made it a pleasant experience.

Transport da' baby
I bought this for my brother as a wedding present. A few months later he found out that he and his wife might use it sooner than they thought...

Fast forward a year. I have 5 or 6 pictures of my nephew Oliver in this rig. Most of the time he's asleep. Based on this I would say that the product works very well.

Easy enough for a guy to figure out! (Father review)
This review is for the father's out there. I will be honest before my daughter was born, I didn't see myself ever strapping one of these things on (because of many factors: Looks, easy of use, etc). When I first used this thing, my wife had to show me because it seemed complicated but as you use it, I slowly got into it and it really is a great thing to free up your hands with a young one! When my daughter was a very young, I even mowed the lawn (with a pushmower, non-gas) and my daughter slept the whole time.
The carrier is especially nice when the child turns and faces away from your body. It shifts the weight and the burden of weight better, in my opinion.
One issue is the strap adjustment sometimes is hard to get corrected no matter your size and to keep it from rubbing.

You will get urp all over this thing so one thing to consider is easy of washing. Other carriers we tried were not as easily washed as this one. With this one, throw in the wash and it is good to go.

relief
It does free up your hands, but unlike I've heard people claim, I have not found that this product allows me to tie my shoes. It can also be hard to find something 'safe' to do with your hands once you have them. You don't want to sterilize bottle parts in steam with a baby attached to your front.

Since you can't lean over with a baby in a front pack, emptying or loading the dishwasher becomes a series of squats exercises. You could try cutting something up for dinner, but you'll be standing at an awkward distance from the counter and won't be able to see what you are cutting. It can be nice for browsing the mall or a bookstore, but it can also be difficult to sit down to look at a book with both of you being comfortable (since the baby's legs will be dangling in front of your thighs). You can't really use your hands to eat a meal, either, or anything hot, without possibly dropping crumbs, dripping soup, or scalding the baby with some other hot consumable.

Mostly I found it nice for taking laps around the house when the baby is crying like his diaper is full of broken glass and my arms are spent and I'm looking to change the way his weight is on my back. That alone is worth a lot. Outdoor autumn walks are nice with a maternity jacket zipped up around them.
