User Submitted Cloud b Twilight Lady Bug - Constellation Night Light Reviews September 29, 2008 Wonderful little lady We already had the twilight turtle for my son and my daughter wanted her own- so we got her the ladybug. She loves it! I love the starry ceiling effect, but always hated those glow-in-the-dark star stickers, so this really does the trick. Very pretty and soothing- my kids love to change the colors- and my son thinks it's great when he wants to pretend he's camping. A great gift for infants, but my kids have continued to use for years beyond (my oldest is 5 and still uses this!). In fact, I wouldn't mind one for myself. :) I haven't had any battery problems with either of ours- maybe have had to replace twice a year- but I don't use rechargeable, just regular alkaline AAA's. I would wholeheartedly recommend this little lady- as well as her counterpart, the twilight turtle.
September 29, 2008 Lady bug I haven't given this to my Grandson as yet but I've opened it and checked it out and I'm sure it'll be a hit. I'm looking forward to Christmas to give it and can't wait. I had fun myself and set it up in my own room... It'll be fun to see his face when he gets to use it... I know he'll love it as I did. Nana
September 23, 2008 Great relaxing toy! The PROS: It is lightweight enough so my baby (5 months) can play with it. I give it to my baby in the morning as he wakes up & this keeps him busy for a few more minutes while I get a little more sleep. :) He loves touching the light (shell), watching the constellations around his crib, & changing the colors on the turtle. I also use it at night as a cue for bedtime & I notice it settles him down after a long busy day. He loves looking at the room filled with stars. I keep it on & enjoy it myself while I breastfeed him before bedtime. The timer option is also great. The CONS: You can't really see the brown constellation, only the blue & the green.
September 23, 2008 A Life Saver...or at least a sleep saver!!!!! My 4yr old and 2yr old were both afraid of the dark and going to sleep in their rooms. I saw this product and gave it a try. It has been wonderful. They have not fought me once about going to bed. They love turning on their ladybugs and finding the moon and counting stars. The stars look great on the ceiling and it really does put the girls to sleep.
September 23, 2008 Meh I really had greater expectations for this little guy. It's smaller than the picture - so right of the bat, the reaction was: "Is that it?". Other than projecting little stars onto the ceiling it doesn't really do much. We have high ceilings, so by the time the light hits the surface, they're large and slightly blurred. I'm underwhelmed and slightly disappointed because for $30 I expected a lot more.
September 22, 2008 Twilight Turtel My son LOVES this turtle. he thinks he's camping under he stars every night. The amber stars don't work very well, but the green and blue ones are great. Well worth the money!!!
September 19, 2008 awesome night light + educational to boot! I had this night light in my wish list for awhile since we have been using the tyke light since baby girl's birth. I wanted to wait until she was a little older so that she could really enjoy this light and boy was I right.
This is such a great product - comes with a lovely booklet that has a neat story and has seven major constellations. The red light is very appropriate for sleep and I use the blue during bed time story.
I will be honest, I want one myself for night time. It is pretty cute, low cost and plushest nightlight I have ever seen.
Hope this helps...
September 16, 2008 Twilight Ladybug Great service, fast delivery, of great product, sorry I don't really know what to say except would order from over and over again.
September 16, 2008 nice product I use this product to ease the fear of thunder/lightning in my 3-year old. It projects nicely on the ceiling, and has a nice calming effect.
September 13, 2008 Great Turtle! My 2 year old just loves this turtle and we use it everynight. As the others have said, the amber light is fairly dim. I also wish the star moved and it played music. I'm a bit bothered that I can't change the lightbulb too. But we've had this turtle for about 6 months now and so far so good!
