Poor quality
We had to buy this in a hurry because the product we had wanted (and ordered from Amazon) suddenly became unavailable. What a poor choice! The back panel is not even the right _size_, so there's a gaping hole in the back of the dresser. Tells you a lot about the manufacturer's quality control. The whole thing feels flimsy and cheap. I'd be worried about putting a baby on top of it, it feels ready to fall apart at any minute. My husband put a dent into this thing with his _nail_ -- exactly what is it made out of?? I wish I had known that it was made of this kind of cheap stuff, it certainly shouldn't be for the price of it. Bottom line -- waste of money.

Fell apart after 4 months
We bought this changer for our son, who is now 16 months old. We had no problems with the delivery or the assembly. I loved it until I actually started using it. The drawer bottoms are very flimsy and the sides of the drawers are made of VERY soft wood. Two of the 3 drawers cracked and were unusable after four months. The fronts of the drawers kept pulling off. We continued to use just the changing table part for another 6 months or so (we glued on the drawer fronts so it looked presentable, even if it wasn't functional)until we could move our older daughter's $99 K-Mart dresser into our son's room. Funny how the cheap K-Mart dresser lasted MUCH longer than this one. DO NOT BUY THIS...

Very flimsy buy something else
I have gently used this changing table for 5 months and it is wobbly and made from the cheapest materials. The bottom of the drawers is very much like a thin form of cardboard and only slightly stronger. The bottom of the top drawer has caved in already. Outrageously poor materials for the price. Assembly was fine and it arrived with all parts and undamaged. Buying this changing table was like throwing away money. I'm very disappointed.

looks nice from far away
in a nutshell, this looks nice from far away, but is a piece of junk. It's overpriced for what you get. It came out of the box scratched, took 5 hours to put together, missing screws and holes not drilled. 2 of 3 whole drawer front panels (handles and all) FELL OFF within 1 month, I had to elmer's glue them back on. Lame! If this was $80 it'd be worth it. It's a pretty color. Thats the nicest thing I can say about it. If I could do it over, I'd spend the extra money on a real piece of furniture!

very cheap, disappointed
we buy a lot of stuff on amazon, and frankly I am really disappointed with the quality of this unit. don't let it fool you, the sides and back are cheap particle board. The rest of the frame is pine. the drawers are really cheap balsa wood too. For nursey furniture, stick with your local dealer. We assembled this one fine and it works ok, but I am worried it is going to fall apart every time we use it. would not get this one again.

No problems here
I've had this changing table for over a year and love it. My husband and I put it together and it only took maybe an hour. It doesn't feel flimsy and it looks great. I foster babies/children and some are larger than newborns so, we have been putting our furniture (we have matching crib and just bought a second changer)through the ringer and really like them.
I am going to mention a couple of things: First, the directions could be a little better; the parts don't have the labels on them so you don't know if they are part a or b just by looking at the part, but it isn't hard to figure out-just compare the part to the picture that says what all of the parts are. Second, in response to some of the wood quality complaints; Yes, the wood for the drawers are a soft wood, but the directions specifically say NOT to use power drills or you can strip the wood. Use a screwdriver and had no issues with cracks or stripping the wood etc., It was surprisingly easy. The result was a sturdy changing table.

Okay for the Money
I haven't had the same malfunctions as the other reviewers but true, the wood on the inside isn't high quality. I guess I didn't expect solid cherry for $250. I've been pleased with the product other than 3 issues you might consider...
1) The rails at the sides are square. My son is quick to pivot and has hit his head on these several times. Rounded rails, such as the front and back would have been nicer.
2) The dark stain is easily damaged. A belt buckle to the front rail or a curious baby's teeth will quickly leave marks.
3) I wasn't fond of the flimsy pad that was included. I upgraded to a contoured pad in the standard dimensions. Unfortunately this dresser appears to have larger dimensions and the pad has roughly a 1" gap around each side.

Nice dresser--good size
This dresser/changing table is the perfect size for us and baby. I would recommend a different changing mat though--the one provided is pretty thin.

AWESOME Changing Table
This changing table is beautiful and extremely easy to assemble. I am currently 7.5 months pregant, and did this BY MYSELF! It took all of maybe and hour and a half, and this is simply because I was tired and the screw gun I was using was heavy, haha.

Once assmbled, the changing table is very sturdy and the drawers slide smoothly. It matches the Da Vinci Emily crib perfectly and looks GREAT in our nursery.

I am extremely happy with this changing table and I can't wait to use it for my son. :-)
