A big hit!
My daughter just loves her harness. She thinks we are playing dress-up when she puts it on and pretends she's a puppy. Some people have even stopped us to see what brand it was. They really think it is discreet. I no longer have to run after her in the shopping mall or in the parking lot. Finally, we are both enjoying our outings together and she is finally safe!

A Real Lifesaver!
I love these. I think it is better to have some type of cute restraint system rather than have your child run off and get hit by a car or turn up missing. Kids move fast and these keep them close when you might be temporarily distracted ie. shopping or at a park of some sort such a the zoo or Disney etc. For those who think they are traumatizing their children I disagree. My kids love them. They are not being treated like dogs and safe is better than injured, dead or taken....other people often ask where I got them and think they are a great idea. I have had no negative comments. And best of all these wash really well...kids do get dirty....

Cute Buddy
My daughter loves to wear the backpack. The harness, not so much. Very cute item.

a lifesaver when in a crowd
We purchased this shortly after our daughter started running. It seems that once she started she didn't want to stop. lol. Anyway, we bought this for when we traveled. It is especially handy when going through an airport. Your child feels like that have the freedom not to hold your hand and you don't worry about them getting lost.

Before we had children I swore we'd never put one of these on our child. Losing sight of our daughter one time changed my mind quickly. Those few moments of not knowing where she was filled us with panic. This product helps you to relax and not stress about losing your child. I highly recommend this!

A must have for active toddlers!
My kids love going to the mall, but every time my son saw something he liked he would unstrap himself from the stroller and make a run for it. Now I can place the harness on him and know he isn't going very far. It beats having him strapped in the stoller the entire time. He loves the puppy and pets him as he walks.

This worked for my 17 month old...
This harness is really cute, and my 17 month old loves it. It helps keep her within arms reach when we are in an open area.

cute, but didn't work for me
My son loved the dog, but the harness didn't work for me... Because it works like a backpack and the restrain attaches to the back of the backpack every time I pulled he would fall back on his butt. Looks very wierd when you are at the mall or other public place... You can take the restrain off the backpack, I would attach it to his pant belt or around the wrist, it worked better, but still was too much work for me and of course he hated it.

Super cute!
This is super adorable. It straps on very nicely and it's soft so the straps aren't digging into her shoulders. The only thing I didn't like about it is the pouch on the back is to small to fit anything into it. Other than that I love it and it keeps my daughter from running off.

"I not a doggy, mama."
If you are looking for the right leash to control your canine, this is for you. On a kid? How evil and embarrassing.

Great safety tool for parent of multiples
First of all, I would like to start by saying that this harness is not meant to be used as a leash. Some other parents wrote in that the tail is too short or that they felt like they were neglecting their child.

We have twins who are 20 months old. This harness has been a lifesaver. We put on the harness when we go walking in the neighborhood or walking in the mall. The kids still hold onto mommy or daddy's hands, but we wear the tail on our wrists. As you know, toddlers may decide to let go and run for it without warning, and we have been able to keep them from running too far away in public. Also, when 1 adult is out with the twins, it is hard to constantly hold both hands 100% of the time. For example, when you reach into your purse to pay for something, which of your 2 hands are you using to hold the hand of each twin? We tried the Kiddopotamus safety harness which was far inferior to this product, had Velcro fasters that easily became undone as the kids were running away from us.

Initially, I did not think of purchasing a safety harness. Then, one day, as I was driving home from work, I saw a mother with a baby in a stoller and a 2-3 year old holding on to the mom. Then, when the light turned green to cross in the crosswalk, the 2-3 year old darted diagonally across the intersection. The mom left the baby stroller in the crosswalk and ran after the little kid. Thankfully, the kid and baby were fine. If the mom had had a safety harness on her toddler, I'm sure the toddler wouldn't have be able to run for a block and a half before mom caught up with her.
