My Baby's Favorite Place to Sleep
My baby LOVES to sleep in his infant seat. It's cozy and warm, with lots of fleece and a big comfy pillow for his head. He cries if he can't sit in his seat, for instance if it is in the washer. The seat washes well, doesn't shrink and stays colorful. (We have the Nature's Wonder version that we bought on sale at Amazon for $37.00.) It's evenly balanced without worry of tipping and can be carried from room to room. There is a harness to keep baby strapped in when moving him.

It plays music, vibrates and has a toy mirror and a butterfly toy instead of a bunny. He doesn't really use these features much.

This is the most useful baby item we bought!

Absolutely Not Worth the Cost...
This was not a very wise purchase on my part. I wish I'd done a little more research when looking for a bouncer (why this even comes up in a search for bouncers is beyond me...it doesn't bounce!). My son only used this a handful of times. The vibrating made him instantly upset, and while it's a nice feature that the music shuts off on it's own, there should be a setting to make it stay on for longer if you so choose. There was NO bouncing with this chair, so he just kind of sat there...bored. I used it more as a place to set him while I did a quick chore or two around the house. In the end I think this chair is WAY overpriced for what it is...basically a stationary seat with some very soft cushions and a little vibration and music. I say pass...you can find better for cheaper.

A New Baby MUST HAVE!
In my opinion, an infant seat ia a MUST. It allows you to get a few things done while your baby relaxes right beside you. It's also good for feeding your baby if you don't have or want to use a Boppy. I had the Fisher-Price Baby Papasan Infant Seat and I LOVED it. (This was another gift from my lovely, all knowing, sister)

Highlights include soft and cushy fabrics to cuddle your baby (including a micro suede pillow for baby's head) and this chair VIBRATES!!! (That has to be the best feature) It also plays soothing music, either classic or lullaby (10 songs in all). The music plays continuously for 15 minutes and there is a volume adjustment.

This is definitely one of my "must haves" when it comes to a new baby.

Better sleeper & great for transport
While I also received a Bobby Cradle in Comfort seater and was very much considering returning this Fisher Price seater (who needs two?), I ended up keeping it and so glad that I did. This piece is actually very easy to transport (has the side handles and legs fold down), it fits trough our backdoor without having to tilt it - my daughter loves being outside and sleep - and it's good for sleeping. The Bobby seat is more reclined and better for sitting up for looking around and this Fisher Price one is more for sleeping and lying down, allowing room to stretch all the way.

love it for an infant
love it although at 24" my daughter no longer finds it comfortable. When very little she did not like the traditional bouncy seats because they sat so upright and did not offer support on the sides like this one does.

Money well spent
We originally bought a papasan seat for our oldest daughter in 2006. She still sits in it occasionally, and was perfect (before she got too big) for sleeping elevated when she was sick. When we found out we were expecting our 2nd daughter I knew that another papasan would be perfect!

Such a life-saver!

boring for my child
I must say that every child is different so I am jufdging this product according to what I could experience with my newborn daughter. I chose this item thinking it was a bouncer but IT IS NOT. It doesn't bounce it vibrates which is different. Some babies love the vibrating sensation but my daughter did not. I tried a friends bouncer and she slept beautifully there. Unfortunately, you have to try it before you get it, and I say unfortunatelly because how are you going to try something unless you buy it or borrow it from someone.

Awsome...Awsome!! :)
We are on our second little one and this seat has come in handy BOTH times. I got it for my baby shower the first time around and my daughter slept and hung out with me in the kitchen in this. Now I have a second daughter and she is sleeping and hanging out it in. Great investment. As another person said, not very useful after the child begins to roll over and be more active, but it is fantastic for newborns. I would recommend this seat to any new mom! Most importantly, it gives you a place to put baby that is not in the car seat or crib. It is comfy, vibrates and plays music. What more could a baby want? And mom, you can have your hands free for other things.

Very pleased!
This was just as I had hoped for and as advertised. Very comfortable for baby. Have a 21 month old , so I use this to keep baby out of curious hands for a while. Seems to fit newborns better than regular seat. It is a little wide for some doors, so have to take baby out to go into some rooms. But other than that, I am very pleased.

Get a different bouncer
I would say the only good thing about this bouncer is it's looks. It IS IMO the cutest bouncer, with it's natural theme and neutral colors. I have the matching swing and yada, yada, yada. Unfortunately the buck stops there. Here is what I don't like...
~ It's expensive compared to other bouncers.
~ It is bulky and not travel friendly.
~ The vibrating setting automatically shuts off after 5 minutes (if my DS was asleep, he wakes up).
~ It does not allow you to put other toys on.
~ It's round shape is not as cozy as the longer shaped bouncers.

I also have this bouncer Bright Starts Musical Melodies Bouncer (thank goodness someone gifted it to me) which I take everywhere in my car. It's the opposite of everything I said above (except it is more expensive), plus not only does it vibrate it actually bounces. When the baby kicks his legs because he's bored/fustrated it bounces him thus soothing him! I use this bouncer a lot and used the other one maybe 3 times. I also like the Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Bouncer. My friend has it and it does everything mine does but I think it actually has a better toy for a much less expensive price. My son loves to watch the display on that one.
